  • This is the case I have.

I got it so I could install a massive (more than 160cm high) tower air cooler (https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/pwrusr-com/builds/) to run cpu@5Ghz

    • How do you find the thermals? Does the front panel hinder airflow?

      • +1

Generally speaking, I have no complaints.

I left the front colored-fans off in winter and never heard the CPU or PSU fan spinning (my PSU has since been upgraded to a high wattage Corsair that stops the fan at lower loads, while the original CPU fan has been replaced by a noctua 15mm).

Now I can hear the CPU fan spool more often (b/C Adelaide ambient temps..), but its noise could still be considered acceptable (it doesn't bother me at all and the CPU is still at 5ghz@67C-70C full load, but most of the time well below those values while browsing or gaming).

If it gets any warmer (say beyond 70C), I might consider turning the front fans ON.

I hope this satisfies your enquiry, any other questions let me know 👍

        • Yep, perfect. Thank you for the reply.
