Looks good but for $100 more you can get the new 5600x cpu, but looks good.

Also instead of buying a wifi adaptor just spend the extra $79 on motherboard with wifi which will free up a PCI-E slot.

what Cyber Monday deals we can leverage tonight

The deal in 2020 is that it is in stock.

I would be aiming for $500 on the graphics card, under $300 on the CPU, and closer to $100 on the RAM.

Not sure on the rest, but they seem a little exxy. Not sure Mwave is known as the best value store.

Dont pay for windows 10, google that and learn how to get it for free :)

They are all expensive, buy from Amazon using cashrewards and get additional discounts - and buy amazon vouchers at 4/5% off for additional savings.

I just picked up the same SSD for $125, same wifi adapter for $65 without googling

If you get Amazon prime for 1 month, its worth it for free expideted shipping alone.

PM me if you need help

    • Thanks! Just signed up for Prime last week.
Delivery was great apart from leaving it at the front door when i have a parcel letter box.

Is this his first PC build? Is he a student?

You could have saved $120 if you ordered last Friday. That AMD CPU was $269 and Gigabyte Wi-Fi adapter was $55.

    • He just finished his HSC!

This is his first build (but wouldnt be mine)

If he still has access to a student email he can get Windows 10 for free. If not the first option on here might be the way to go.

Get him to read this account security tips article and enable Steam Guard.

Get a motherboard with wifi on it. Maybe the MSI Tomahwak wifi or Mortar Wifi.
A Kingston A2000 is generally recommended over the Crucial.

The rest of the components look good, just the prices on them are not too great. If you are patient and look out for deals they can be gotten a cheaper.
The best deals from the last couple of days had the 5700XT at $399 with a free keyboard and 3600 at $269. Those were exceptional though and sold out fast.

    • Personally prefer a pcie wifi adapter. I've had a couple motherboard with wifi built-in and they always crap out after a while for some reason. Both boards were Asus ROG boards that costed me $350 & $450. Mind you, the last time I upgraded was 4 years ago so it might be different now.

Theres a techfast deal that would run rings around that. With $200 savings - hard drive storage and wifi if required.
