Entry Requirements
Around $100,000 worth of vouchers will be given away to lucky Melburnians keen to spend locally when it comes to Christmas shopping.
On Tuesday, the City of Melbourne announced that 500 vouchers would be given out for use at the Queen Victoria Market. Each has a value of $200.
Lord Mayor Sally Capp said the initiative would offer a boost to market traders.
“Queen Victoria Market is home to more than 600 small businesses and a 2000-strong workforce,” she said in a statement.
“The vast majority of these businesses are small family operations with just a few employees so it’s vital that we support the Market after a very difficult year.
“Queen Victoria Market is a Christmas destination and has everything you could possibly need from pudding to prawns as well as unique Australian-made gifts, jewellery, books, clothes and much more. “
The vouchers are up for grabs until 11.59pm on Sunday December 20.
They will be valid at all participating Queen Victoria Market shops and stalls including food and fresh produce, specialty retail and services, cafés and hospitality.

Went to pick up mine today. The vouchers came in $5 dominations. Some stalls refused to accept these vouchers. Be sure to ask first before you pay.
