  • Bought this back in October, seems to be an open ended promotion.

I think this would be a better deal.

Depends whether global roaming is needed

      • Not much global roaming going on right now thanks to COVID…

      • No volte, vilte, vowifi, RCS messaging etc etc…

Coles deal missing more than just roaming

*EDIT: seems only on post paid optus plans… These telcos need to get their act together.

same network better deal for any international call users.

This is worse than last year? It was $150 for 120GB.

  • Your better off going with the boost plan, optus's service has been pretty bad these days.

this is subjective to where to live imo … i’ve been with optus prepaid for almost a year and no issues what so ever

      • Boost's customer service is appalling. Optus' is great.

        • Like almost non existence!

    • Optus reception has been better for me than telstra in Wagga Wagga. Go figure.

  • AFAIK Optus Prepaid doesn't have volte or vowifi enabled?

    • Is that a question or a fact. I am looking into moving out of Telstra and looking for a cheap PPP (PrePaid Plan)

      • It's a question hence the ?

    • Correct. Boost mobile is the only prepaid service that has these features as far as I am aware.

Get the Coles 12 month prepaid which usually goes on sale for $120 with 120GB data. It uses Optus and the better deal.

    On sale right now:

    • Thanks Homobargainien looks like I'm gonna jump ship

      • You are welcome mate. It was a very easy port. I'm having issues with my mms so probably need to manually change settings otherwise all good. It took 5 days to arrive.

  • Switched from Vodafone prepaid to this the other day since Optus now does eSIM on prepaid.

Might as well buy Woolworths plan and get a 10% off a shop every month

  • How about catch connect? Same network but still $120 for 120gb for new customers.

  • Can I port my Optus number to Coles Mobile which is also Optus?

    • The logical answer is no as I know when I was with Boost, I could not go to Telstra without having to port out to VF first and then joined Telstra.

Assuming the same with all Telcos
