Total cost is $540 which seems a really good bargain, for a gray A7 32gb.

You also get Optus sport. 5gb a month data but it is shaped to 1.5mbps after that.

The discounted price applies only to 24 or 36 months.
RRP is $528.29 so you are basically getting data for 2 years and can pay tablet monthly for only an extra $12.

    It is just data sim so no calling or SMS. Similar to Telstra plan

  How is the experience for those who replaced their NBN with unlimited mobile data like Optus with 1.5 Mbps? Or with other companies?

    Tread carefully. Optus can be very spotty in some areas. Telstra tends to perform better, also tend to be more expensive. It would be a good idea to test your reception (with an existing phone or get a prepaid SIM with a small amount of data and hospot it) in wherever you need to be, before making the switch.
