6 Various Drill and Bit Sets $6.99 @ ALDI Special Buys

150

There's 6 different sets. I bought the 37 piece set last time and really, there's no better buying online or B&M for $7. I've also used an impact driver on a few of them and they stood up. You should not do this as they are supposedly not impact rated.

There's also a few drill accessories available + a $79 brushless hammer driver with a man sized 13mm chuck.

I do find these sell out quick.

I used some Aldi drill bits to try to drill through some thin galvanised metal and found they got blunt very quickly. Not great quality. Had to get some specialised metal bits from Bunnings.

Yep these are best for drilling through cream cheese or custard

Is it ok if the custard has a semi hard layer on top?

  • I am hoping Bunnings will price match one of their drills.

I bought a set each of these mainly for the cases. Some bits are ok for the expected light duty stuff like the brad points into wood. But the plan anyway is as they get used I grab the many spares (e.g. those Bosch kits lol) and put them in the same case.
