I have one of these and it cooks excellent quality rice. Doesn't stick to the bowl and makes amazing porridge too. highly recommended.

I was about to comment the same thing. I absolutely love this rice cooker, have had it for almost 2 years now I think and it's never skipped a beat.

    • Some of the reviews comment about overflow into the lid and this being hard to clean - do you find this is a problem?

I don't get overflow (only cook 4 cups of rice at most) but do get lots of water in the side channels when I first open the lid after cooking from the steam that gathers on the lid. My rice cooker is near the sink so I just tip it sideways to get rid of it.

Great rice cooker. Used a few times a week for 3 years and has been great.

Yep I get over flow, doing Brown rice (2 cups), it's it's worst aspect of this product, but not a deal breaker, it does mean a bit more cleaning though
We would still buy it again as it makes such tender Brown rice.

        • We have one of these as well and been using it for about a year now. We usually use the quick option to cook as opposed to the slow option. Rice always comes out perfectly cooked, compared to other cheap cookers we've used in the past. I've seen it overflow around the edges a few times, I think it depends on the amount of water that you've put in, nonetheless, haven't paid much attention to it and it dries up quickly.

  • Just bought this today and so far so good but can anyone please tell me how to turn this machine off (other than switching the PowerPoint on the wall off)?? I can’t find any on/off button?

    • Yeah I can't find any way either besides the PowerPoint.

PS. Have you tried putting the delay timer on to cook? I can't get mind to work but I assume I'm missing something obvious
