  • Does anyone know if it is suitable for 5 years old?

    • I had one for my son who was a small 6 or 7 yo and it was great.

      • Would it be ok for an average 9 year old?

Does anyone know if it is suitable for 33 year old?

      • As long as they are <100Kg and probably with short legs.

Should be fine if you're a hobbit.

        • Or a jockey

  • Thanks got one

Want one for myself. I'm 37

The steering on these was my biggest let down. Their turning circle is about 20 metres. Don't know if they've improved in the few years since I bought one. Possibly easy to modify if you were mechanically minded.

No suspension on wheel or cross-body bar for a such a skeleton setup. A tight turning circle will cause it to roll at any reasonable speed. You have to add a floor, struts, cross bar and suspension for good manuvourability. By then it's too heavy to be pedaled by kids, you have to add battery and electric motors. Now it's mechanically propelled, you have to add a mechanical brake. Brake doesn't work well with those wheels so you have to change to the type with better ground contact. When you finish doing all these mods, the kids are like 22. So may as well buy them a Tesla.

      • Or 2 in different colours…

  • Not much in description to go by but this..

Could mean big enough for teen / adult?

Probably shouldn't invite Donkey Kong or Wario at the very least.

Hi, got my 7yo one for Christmas, he’s tallish for age and it’s ok, but won’t last long. Problem is seat to pedal distance for longer legs. I’m going to look at modifying the seat to push it back further.

I’ve been planning to make a wooden billy cart. May as well buy this given buying wheels and axels and things at bunnings is probably going to cost as much!!

  • Can anyone report further on the quality of this? Haven't yet picked it up but not sure if I should just get a refund, don't need more junk toys!

    • Picked one up yesterday and my 7yo loves it, seems sturdy and we’re happy with it. Rode it from home down to the local school this morning where he had heaps of room to ride around for a while then back home again and it went well.

    • I love the idea of this, but like you am dubious of the reality.
