What further discount did you get on top of the 15% off? Which store?

    • called store and got further $ off.

Got further dollar off… So 15% off and a dollar.

$15, every $ counts, Port Mac

  • Looked like a good deal - jumped on Choice and many of the Webber models are recommended. What was disappointing is that GG don't stock the same models! They seem to have fewer features (eg hood thermometers). Very tempting, as no doubt they are still probably decent BBQs, but I'll keep looking. Cheers

    • Weber sell two versions of each model, one to the specialists chain (with thermometers) and one to mass market, no real difference

      • Having looked at the Weber website, it looks like you're correct - though there does also appear to be a difference in hood height on the Q2000 and Q2000 models. It is small, but for what I'd be using it for would benefit from the extra height and thermometer. It's annoying since the RRP is only minor and as you mentioned, all other components look identical. I guess that's the kicker with them having their premium sellers - you pay for the extras! Maybe I shouldn't be so picky

I am also tossing whether I should get Q1000 for $279 or Q1200 (from specialist store) for $349. The difference is $70 and you get the following:

          1) Extra hood height
          2) Electric ignition (but apparently Weber offer lifetime warranty on ignition)
          3) Temperature gauge on the hood

Not sure if the above worth $70. Anyone advice would be helpful.

I got the 3200, apart from thermometer it’s also got a bigger hood and battery ignition. Worth the extra $10 I thought.

Thermometer model is the 3200 family, without is the 3100, also different size hood and battery ignition.

  • Same price on Goodguys' eBay store if you have any discounted gift cards left for further savings.

  • Any one done a comparison of Ziegler & Brown Ziggy with Weber Q?
