Hey airforce - no decaf sorry.

  • any deals on the 250g bags

    • +2

Hey there Ozb101 - Not on this one sorry. Just awesomeness on 500g and up :)

      Thanks
      Dan

No worries. Can you recommend the best beans for aeropress and for making cold drip.

        Thanks

    • Best beans from the best roaster - order placed immediately!
  • +1

Just bought one to try out too!

  • +1

Perfect timing was down to my last 50g of enterprise blend. Haven't bought coffee beans from anywhere else after trying airjo a few months ago. So good

  • Good timing. Got some straight away. These are very good!

  • How do these compare to the Vittoria ones?

    • +5

Vittoria are usually very dark roasted, and are just plain coffee flavours, where as these tend to have more flavour to them.

I would rate these far above vittoria.

      • Thanks just grabbed some!

  • Cheers OP. Literally ran out of beans this morning. Stocked up.

  • Order placed around 7
    Shipping email came before 0830
Very impressed with the fast service. Thanks

  • Sweet, bought a kilo - cold brew ground. Cheers!

  • Thanks op. Bought 1kg

  • Bought the enterprise blend a while ago and it was not disappointed!! Really good coffee. Just bought this one as an espresso grind to try it out with my new espresso machine! Thank you for the deal!!

    • +1

I was. I found it bland after the excellent Sumatra I had been having. Everyone has different flavour profiles they prefer, I understand.

  • Just got a new breville barista pro, perfect timing with this deal. Thanks OP ordered.

  • Given it’s a light roast, would there beans be able to cut through milk-based coffee?

    • Yes indeed Quiexo - It will cut through a milk based espresso no problem.

  • Great coffee, good price

  • I've got the enterprise blend from the last deal haven't tried it yet, how is the sumatra different? My coffee comes out bitter so wondering if this is a lighter roast than enterprise

    • +2

Hey pongky - yes its a lighter roast than enterprise - neither of them however should be bitter for you based on the roast.
If you want to reach out to me via DM at some stage I can try and help with settings and extractions based on your method and equipment.

      Cheers

Guys and Gals - apologies for the slow replies - you are all running us off our feet today!! :)
    Lets go!!!

    • Just ordered two 1kg bags, and might be two more soon just waiting on grind options… Looks like my entire family likes Airjo beans too after I bought 2 extra bags as gifts last time!!

  • Can't wait to give this a go, cheers!

  • Hey OP, can I get 1kg price in 2 x 500g bags?

    • +1

Sorry Fernley - you would need to order 2 x 500g

  • Shipping email received within 30 mins of ordering - cheers!

  • Amazing coffee and service! Thanks OP

  • How long do the beans keep fresh for? Debating about whether getting the Plunger grind 500g or 1kg. Thanks

    • +1

Hey dr86 - it's a balance for you between $ vs Freshness. I would always recommend smaller bags (particularly ground) and that's not about profits - that's about quality. That said, if you store you coffee in a cool dry place you will get several weeks of very good product.

Hope that helps (probably makes it harder :))

      Cheers
      Dan

      • How cool is cool? I've heard difference things about putting whole beans in the fridge. Dry should be fine if the container is sealed.

  • Thanks, ordered 1kg.

  • Been drinking Campos but will try these!

  • Hi AIRJO, I've just have another 500 grams of coffee to consume but i don't want to miss out on this, can i order first for a delayed shipping?

    • Hey blue1ce39 - it's "get it while you can" kind of thing - apologies.

  • no worries, will order :)

  • Can anyone recommend a 'grind number' for a Breville express for these beans?

    • I feel like every machine is different. I recommend trying a course grind and if it pours too quickly (< 20 seconds) then go up 1-2 notches and try again. You want to get to around a 20-30 second shot.

  • I used grind setting of 15 for the previous batch of the same beans on my Breville Smart Grinder Pro with great results on my Delonghi Dedica.

    • Exact same grinder and coffee machine set we have (well hubby does, I don’t drink a lot of coffee. Will pass this onto my husband cheers

  • Price increase?

  • Great timing Dan, love me some Sumatra beans :)

  • Super good timing, my enterprise blend was gone today, keen to try this one over the weekend!

  • Hi !
Does anyone experience this coffee compare to Manna Coffee beans.
    Thanks

    • +1

both are great! Manna has better variety of 4x 490 grams for about the same price regularly. this deal is for 1kg or 500gm of the same beans

  • Came to trusty OzB to find a code for Fat Poppy or The Little Marionette, but this sounds worth trying. Thanks OP.

  • What's the suggested espresso brewing parameters? (Dose / Yield / Temp / Time)

  • Ordered a bag to try. Can't wait!

  • Will give it a go

  • Hi, looking for a recommendation. Usually combined with milk for a nice strong tasting coffee flat white style. Using a breville machine. With other brands usually their dark roasts with some strong notes are what we get recommended, not familiar with this roaster?

Edit: sorry just noticed this was Sumatra only. Keen then in that context how dark a roast/taste this is?

Currently enjoying the fat puppy from Leftfield coffee roasters, and blacklist coffee - all WA based, but if anyone's familiar with these be keen to hear on how these Sumatra compare?

  • Can someone recommend a grind number for a Delonghi Magnifica S for these?

    • I just got a Magnifica S as well. What grind number do you use on beans?
I bought St Ali beans for it as recommended by ozbargains and can’t make a decent coffee.

  • Bugger…too slow again.

  • I snooze I lose…

  • Hopefully this comes back, heard of it from a co-worker who says they are good. Currently subbed to P&R but I want to try these out.

  • First time trying Airjo. Coffee was delivered very quickly, well packaged and tastes amazing! Can't wait to try the other varieties. Would be nice if they also had a decaf option.

  • Bought this after all the positive comments but I honestly didn't think the taste was anywhere as good as the Vittoria organic I've tried. Yet to try any other beans but that's my experience so far I much preferred the Vittoria over these Sumatra ones in terms of flavour

    • Hey Dingleman thanks for letting us know. Keen always to hear all feedback.
If you are keen to discuss further I’m always happy to help where I can and you can get me directly at [email protected]

      Cheers
      Dan

      • Thanks Dan just emailed

  • Not sure why, first time I got these beans and I am always getting a very sour coffee. Using Breville Barista Touch, grind tried at various levels and getting extraction time and volume pretty spot on, but just can't get something that isn't super sour out of them.

Maybe it's just my personal taste isn't compatible with this bean, so back to using Five Senses and Inglewood for me (with Aldi as my backup emergency beans!)

    • Hey there markmill - sorry to hear this one wasn’t for you. Really appreciate the opportunity and we are grateful for you giving them a go.

If you get a chance, can you let us know your order number and any other feedback you have by dm or email me directly anytime [email protected]

      Sincerely
      Dan

    • Dan at Airjo reached out to me about being unsatisfied. I have since tried their Enterprise blend, and its day and night difference - the Enterprise blend is a very nice coffee that I have enjoyed and happy with. Even if the issue was that the Sumatra beans simply are not to my taste preference, Dan and Airjo went out of their way to convince me to give them another chance and make me a happy customer.
