A quick ebay search shows these selling with bids for around $600.

Looks like a good deal!

Description on the site says supplied by company "2 good products". (couldn't find anything about them)

  • That seems pretty good for a brand new iphone 4

  • Yea, it is a good bargain. However the company that sells the item (2 Good Product 2000) seems unheard of before. Please note also that the item wont be processed before the deal finishes (about another 4 days) and the delivery time is 2-4 weeks. Thus it is likely that you'll be getting this next year.

Btw, Anyone knows why we ouffer deals are banned in ozbargain?

  • Is there a chance that this item will be delivered without warranty? Still trying to figure out why they are selling cheap..

    • I would think you should have a good chance with warranty direct with Apple? Worse case scenario… Keeping all proof of purchase of course.
Yeah not sure why Ouffer is banned… I see posts from other group buy sites from time to time.

You can see why a store is banned by going to http://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/ouffer.com

Basically, the company continues to attempt to vote it's deals up or pose as customers and post deals. We've banned them 4 times over the past year and a half with assurances it would stop and it continues to happen. We don't like banning stores especially when they offer good deals but if we can't tell which votes/users/comments are real and which are sockpuppets then we have no choice to ban them.

        • I did get a very bad experience with them… Decided not to trust them anymore. However, with this kiind of offer it's hard to pass

        • Ok, thanks Neil. Seems justified.

Looks like an awesome deal. Now if only someone could convince me that I can trust this company!?

Bought one too, gonna try my luck. It is pretty easy to get money back through PayPal if anything is wrong.

    • I thought paypal insurance (protections) works only for ebay. Isn't it?

      • No. Paypal protection works throughout paypal (on all payments made).

  • Is this a iphone 4 or 4S? It says iphone 4, but the spec shown looks like a 4S. Can anyone help clarify? Tks!

    • The only 4s spec was the 8MP I think? Which apparentl they have revised.. So it's a 4

      • Thanks cave!
Yes, they changed the 8MP to 5MP, but they still have the weight -140g (vs 137g) & Bluetooth 4.0 (vs 2.1) on. Anyway, I agreed with you that this is a 4.

        • Ah yes! i didnt notice that, sorry. And they also say it's assisted GPS and GLONASS which is 4s specs.. A bit unpro it seems

  • Gone!

Just received a refund from Ouffer, seems this deal is not legit after all. Well it is worth a try lol.

    • Me too, no reason

      • me too, bummer!

        • me too… can anyone tell what our rights are in such cases - money charged, held money for more than a week and then refund?

    • Damn, sorry to hear that guys :( what is it with with these companies offering deals on phones and not coming good on them… ***holes I tell you.

Guys, i just receive the refunds without reason or communication from Ouffer. They took money away for a full week from everyone of us! It is scam business!!! This is the way they do money transaction business! Any one know how to deal with this scam? It needs to illimate this scam business!

Although Ouffer has issues, not sure how you can call this a scam as you (and presumingly everyone) have been refunded. If you used a credit card then you can't really claim any lost interest. If paid via bank account, I suppose you could claim the $513.95 * Highest of Savings accounts (6.11 Ubank) divided by 52. Or roughly $.60.

Not sure how many they sold but even at 500 it would only make them a profit of $300 by keeping everyones money for a week, not to mention employees time spent refunding all of the purchases. Seems like a simple mistake by Ouffer. Be glad that they refunded you proactively unlike other group buy companies who await customers to make a complaint before refunding.

  • Got their email !!!

    Dear Valued Ouffer Customer,

I regret to inform you that we will be refunding your purchase of the iPhone 4 offer that we advertised last week. The merchant, 2 Good Products Pty Ltd, has not lived up to the level of service that we demand for our members. The refund will be credited back to the payment method you used by the 28th of December (the next official Australian business day).

We will also be giving you $15 in free Ouffer credit to be used on anything on the site as a gesture of thanks for your continued patronage. If the funds haven't been credited back to your payment method or the $15 credit hasn't landed in your Ouffer account by then, please let us know.

I wish you a joyous holiday break and Happy New Year!

    Warm Regards,
    Joshua

    • sounds pretty legit, i.e. they made an honest mistake and they tried their best to fix it. You can't really do much with dodgy vendors.

It would be nice if there was an actual rep here on ozb though =S
