expired Motorola Xoom 32GB Wi-Fi $298 at Harvey Norman Gordon
This was posted 1 year 5 months 9 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
This was mentioned in the posting on the galaxy tab 10.1:
http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/59710
which referred to a post on whirlpool:
http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1737826&p...
but not listed in its own post, so figured I'd post it up.
Can't vouch for it myself yet, but fingers crossed!
Edit: confirmed!

Road Warrior on 15/12/2011 - 22:42 ¶Can they do that? I.e. one Harvey Norman store doing it on their own.
johndoe123 on 15/12/2011 - 23:06 ¶agree. they've different price and sometimes couldnt even price match their own store

Well the current price @ Harvey Normans is $397 so $298 seems plausable

Thanks to heleth for posting those scans.
I've just been to Harvey Norman's Martin Place and got it price matched.
There was actually another "Oz-bairganer" there at the same time getting it price matched too!
If anyone needs my receipt for price matching I'm happy to scan it and post it.
Was looking at the Xoom yesterday and managed to talk it down to $275 at Bing Lee, lucky I didn't commit then!
Great xmas/birthday present for the wife…
+1 voteAfter a lot of research I ended up tracking down this seller on ebay whom sells the Acase (same as AYL case that only sells on Amazon and won't ship out here but rebranded to sell elsewhere)
Awesome case, perfect fit, soft interior to prevent rubbing on Xoom. BEST CASE EVAAA!http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Acase-Premium-Slim-Leather-Case-F...
I've been using it for a week or so now and I'm very happy with my Xoom. I have it rooted, overclocked at 1.7ghz (x2 dual core remember) and installed the Sony Bravia engine last night which seems to have improved the clarity a smidgen as well as improved blackness. I'm happy with the $354 I paid, for $298 you guys should be ecstatic :)

Just bought one from Gordon over the phone. They also have a special on today for the 2 year extended warranty, normally $95 got mine for $35.
The man said this morning they had 50 units and they are now down to about 14 after my purchase 10 minutes ago. Thanks to the OP for posting this.

Road Warrior on 16/12/2011 - 11:05 ¶Well, I just rang the HN City West store (Perth) and they've said that's a no go for them. So it looks like it's an east coast only deal.

Road Warrior on 16/12/2011 - 12:45 ¶Do you reckon JB would accept a receipt from a purchase in another state??

here is the link to my receipt from JB
hope this helps

I live near Moore Park (Coogee) and drove to Gordon this morning (9:52am arrived) for the deal. I was unsure (and unwilling to haggle - price match) if my local HN stocked any WiFi only models. So I decided to travel the forty five minutes to the Gordon store (+ tolls each way)
Here is my receipt - http://i43.tinypic.com/oh71qp.jpg
I attempted to talk down the price by offering $280 (CASH) knowing they told me they had 57 units left in stock (when I called at 9:05 this morning to ensure there was a strong likelihood I would be able to purchase one before I made my drive) and also haggled by reminding the salesperson the model had been on the market for nearly a year now.
Guy didn't buy it, then I offered him $290 (really no point now). Found out it was a flat $298, or no tablet.
So there. I unwrapped it I found marks on the surface protectors but gathered that was usual from the engineering process (and not the result of it being refurbished)
The unit played up a bit initially zooming in, out and opening windows(even after cleaning the protective surface ensuring no smudges were causing the havoc) but once I restarted it again everything is working as should.
There wasn't much action in there this morning when I came in (about four sales reps chatting together) so there should be surplus stock for anyone coming on later this afternoon/this evening.
Android V 3.2 comes installed in the stock FYI

johndoe123 on 16/12/2011 - 17:31 ¶not sure. he only told me he managed to get after some argument with the manager.
Road Warrior on 16/12/2011 - 15:32 ¶Both JB stores in the city (Perth) do not have stock and were non-committal about price matching if they had any. Second store said no way. This is with using ozchilli's receipt posted earlier.

I got a price match at JB Belconnen (ACT) the only thing was they have no units so had to pay at Belco and pick it up from the Civic store. I just showed the salesguy the HN Gordon Brochure and the JB reciept that were posted earlier in the thread on my phone (thanks guys) and he accepted it.
I rang HN earlier in the day but Fyshwick wouldnt price match (but that could have been the guy I spoke to) and HN Woden sold all their stock for the same price ($298) about a week ago
komododragon on 17/12/2011 - 14:45 ¶Thanks. I got price match at JBH Westfield Parramatta. Bought 3 of them. I think there are still 5 units as of 11AM today
cptcurry007 on 18/12/2011 - 13:14 ¶I bought 2 units from JB HiFI Chadstone today, they price matched it and there are like 6 units left in stock. Best spend totally worth it, will post up receipt if any one is interested. But yeah bought it like 20 minutes back
allabouticecream on 20/12/2011 - 13:27 ¶Got JB (Strand Arcade Sydney) to price match yesterday. New shipment just arrived too.
allabouticecream on 23/12/2011 - 22:29 ¶I've taken a photo on my iPhone but don't know how to attach it to this reply.

Yeah that's why I never posted it myself. No real confirmation yet so maybe it should be forums until then?
