My washing machine is down ATM and I gotta get my clothes cleaned while it's being repaired. Could anyone suggest a budget place in the Town Hall area to get my clothes washed?
Google maps mostly shows dry cleaners and not general laundry.
No need fold or dry as I have a dryer.

Surely there's a neighbour/friend nearby that can help you out … personally, I'd just buy a used washing machine on gumtree/fb and sell one when the other one is fixed.
Would also recommend using a neighbour/friend's one or you could do it like many past generations and just hand wash (especially if just doing the regular use items like socks and undies).

I'd just buy a few extra sets for this … how many could you possibly need until the machine is repaired? 5?
*bonus points if your neighbour is hot. Might want to do a few extra loads in that case and repay him/her with some alcohol.
where are you exactly? town hall area is very vague and not useful in a google search or local search
I usually would do a google search on laundromats in (your town) that usually comes up with a map, plus a local search directory, I see one in Rozelle as a "self serve laundromat" maybe thats a better search key?

Agree with this. I would hand wash in a bathtub or use the end of a broom stick as the agitator. Good workout without going to the gym.
There are several in Newtown / Erskineville. That's only 3 train stops away.
Not sure about a laundromat, but have you tried asking if hostels/hotels will let you (a non-guest) to use their self serve coin laundries?
