Was looking to buy a well known video editing suite when I stumbled upon this at OzGameShop. Didn't even know they stocked video editing software! I believe this is a pretty good price for the current version of the software.

Purchased many things from there and it's always been good. For me, things have usually arrived in about 7 days.
They're trustworthy, definitely. They are actually the Australian branch of 365games.co.uk, a UK online retailer. IIRC, both have a good history with OzBargain.

The picture on first link is that of "HD Platinum 11 Production Suite"; whist the second, of "HD Platinum 11". It's difficult to tell why OzGameShop is providing so little information about the product for the first link (in comparison to the second) especially given that it's supposed to be more expensive (hence high value) - seems suspicious.
Got email reply from "Chantel" from ozgameshop - "I can confirm that these items are both exactly the same, just from different suppliers."

According to a stray comment on Lifehacker, this was around $60 near the start of the month on OzGameShop. But I wouldn't take it too seriously.

will this be good for converting video files, I got 2tb of TS files I need to covert to smaller files.

If you're sceptical of going to that page, Google "Easy h264". I found it while browsing video editing sites and it works like a charm. You have encoding presets, so you can pick whether you want "Stream HS 720p", "Extreme HD 720p" or a few other options.
I know there is better out there, but this is the easiest to use, in my opinion.
Vegas is more for editing, but it also does a great job with converting.
It's only $0.50c more than you quoted but I can't find the $30.99 price ?!?!?

I have just looked at the products and webpages for them again.. there is now only 2 Platinum versions listed.(and some of the different links people have posted above now go to the same product).
The 2 versions now listed have images for Standard Platinum and Platinum Production Suites.
BUT the descriptions are all over the place..Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum - $32.99
(The image is for the Standard Platinum version, but the description says it includes all the software in the Production suite… the desc also contradicts saying it is v10 AND in a different part v11..)

Received mine today - came from "Xbite" in Sheffield UK as other Ozgameshop buyers have reported for other titles.
The box was somewhat squashed, the top seal sticker unstuck, and the install disc kinda dusty. I guess what matters is that the serial and code are genuine and unused.
What version did you order? and what version did you receive?

Chances are the other one is gonna be the Production Suite, judging by the part number in the title, notwithstanding the other inconsistencies.
I've ordered mine on 23 December and it was dispatched on 30 December, but I have not received it yet. Anyone else still waiting (I've sent a request to OGS as well)?
