He meant, "Woolworths that I frequent never have these".

I think you will find jv was just being his usual obtuse self.

Large is an overstatement…these things are tiny…why can't the big 2 make ones like costco?

    • -1

why can't the big 2 make ones like costco?

They do, they are a different product to this though.

  • I’ve never seen these at my woolworths either. Are these like the ones coles has in the big box?

    • +1

I think they are in clear plastic bags…like the bread

    • -2

Nope, small bag or plastic container.

    • These are not nearly as big as the Coles one…

  • Yum, must get one

    • -5

      Their not that yum…

      • +6

        No, they're not.

        • -2

          Yes there are…

      • +5

Not sure why the downvotes, they're disgusting

        • +1

Obviously many people here are used to eating rubbish…

          • +2

@jv: That taste of fake butter on your tongue…
            Hmmmm.

    • +1

Do you like the taste of cardboard too? Essentially the same thing.

      • Egg cardboard container tastes BETTER!!!!

  • +3

saw these yesty, they are nowhere near "large", small and squashed. May have just been my woolies.

  • +1

If your Woolies don't have these, have you checked the isle with the loafs of bread?

Unlike Coles which puts these items in the bakery section, Woolies put these in the bread loaf isle.

  • These are bad - they stuff them into a bag at my local Woolworths so they all look completely smashed.

Much better getting the big flat box they have (they may be bake at home though)?

  • These are bad.
Small, tasteless, sqished in a bag. Worst of the supermarket ones.

  • +2

    It's small. Two bites size.

  • Unless things have changed or im thinking of the wrong ones(assuming these are the 10 packs in the cardboard box with plastic wrap over the top), these are quite decently sized and taste pretty good. Maybe me but i think they are a pretty decent size.

    • These are not the boxed ones. They're the "stuff them in a bag and smash them down" small-medium sized croissants.

    • you're thinking the ones from Coles. Woolworths never have the ones on cardboard boxes.

      • +1

Yes, I agree. And the boxed one at Coles is actually 12 croissants, decent value for$10.

      • +1

My bad. Im sure thy used to have them at one point. Must have stopped stocking them. At least they were at my local .

  • you can check the stock online see if your local wws has them.

  • +2

Get the frozen ones (in Coles, made in France) to bake at home if you want cheap croissants that taste ok.

Otherwise these are horrid and dry.

  • I'd prefer Coles' croissant to Woolies'. They don't put enough butter and the texture is more like regular bread in the croissant shape.

  • La petite
