      Has this one been tested with Chinese air yet and how did it fare? xiaomi probably have a fair amount of real life performance.

    Xiaomi have an RFID tag on their filters meaning you are forced to change them based on time of use even if they're still clean. For me, more importantly they also don't have a washable pre-filter so do get clogged up with all the large dust particles. On the purifier I have after two weeks there is a decent layer of dust across the pre-filter. Keeping this out of the carbon and HEPA filters would have to significantly extend their lives, allowing them to filter the smaller particles more efficiently.

      Nope not forced. Air purifier still works but shows the filter on 0% with a warning. Put a bit of foil on top of the RFID chip if it bothers you. Again still works but provides a warning
