  • Not too bad of a price.

  • this one looks very nice.

Thanks OP. Always happy to see a good Starbuy deal here.

I know these are super popular. However, I'm really hanging out for a repeat of the Citizen Aqualand Pepsi bezel deal

    • “Aqualand”… hmm, what line of watches does that remind me of.

      • Are you thinking of either Omega Seamaster or Rolex Submariner? Those watches look much more sleek than Citizen's Aqualand range.

        • I was trying to make a reference to "Aqualand" sounding a lot like "Aqua Terra".

      • Tag Heuer aqua racer

Starbuy is my Favourite watch retailer. 👍

still haven't received my watch from them and it's been almost 4 weeks.

      • Weird. I ordered one a few weeks back and it arrived via Express post.

  • 4R36 movement lol.

For 500$, it should at least be a 6R

    • +1

      That's so 2019!

    • Good luck finding anything 6R for $500 now that Seiko has shifted their pricing structure…

How does this compare to Armani?

    • -5

Armani is superior in everyway. Get Armani. Go go go.

    • -2

Buy the Armani, take the money you saved from buying the Seiko, spend it on Bitcoin, go to the moon, cash out some BTC and buy a Rolex. No need for a Speedy, you've already been to the moon.

    • +3

Fashion label watches are seldom good value - you're generally paying a premium for the label's logo to be slapped on a Fossil (or similar).

    • Yeah, Armani watches are great for diving.

Depends. Are you Indian? If so, yes.

  • Good price for that watch, but I'm also looking elsewhere for that money.

I'm still undecided with this and Seiko Samurai SRPB51J.

If anyone is interested, it looks like starbuy is having a sale on all the Prospex watches. I’ve had my eye on the Save the Oceans edition King Turtle, and this is the best price I’ve seen it so far: https://starbuy.com.au/seiko-king-turtle-srpe39k/

    • I got mine for $549 in May last year. Havent seen it lower than that. Would hold out if i was you

  • I ordered the watch. Then looked closer and noticed the magnification 'bulge' over the date… regretting my purchased now.

  • What's the diff between a king turtle and regular turtle?

Waffle dial, saphire glass, ceramic bezal? Anything else? Is that manual winding on the regular turtle? Seems pretty good value.
