expired $10 Movie Tickets at Event Cinemas: Feb 1st - March 28th (Limit 2)
This was posted 1 year 4 months 19 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
I know I'm jumping the gun abit here, but it's always good to have a heads up.
Found this in my email I received. Valid for Feb till end of March.
Redeem up to two Single movie tickets for $10 each.
Although there's still booking fees and excludes gold class. Extra charges for VMAX and 3d.
Good deal I guess since I just paid $65 for two movie tickets with snacks -_-;…

Use that link, then type Rydges into the coupon box. INCLUDES VMAX.

nicknguyen on 06/02/2012 - 11:59 ¶@melmac77: when i check on rydges website, it says that we need to show the membership card in order to redeem the tickets

@nicknguyen news to me but no probs just use the optus hack instead definitely no ID required on that one. Once you are on the ticket number selection page of the event website change the address from =whatever to =optus hit enter and the $10 ticket option will appear.
+3 votesYes Tickets is better $10 all the time, goes at least until mid this year & no ticket limit. Can't use it after 5pm on Sat & public holidays. If you don't have an optus phone etc. go buy a $2 sim register it. Then use the number to sign up to yes tickets. Worth the effort.
+13 votesA better way and I just know this will be ozbargained and they'll close the loophole but here goes,
when your on the ticket purchase page the web adress at the end says
'https://www.eventcinemas.com.au..blah.blah.&bookingSource=web_home'
replace the webhome with Optus so the end of the address is bookingSource=Optus and voila cheap tickets :)

@delfredo I assume you mean the optus link ? Did you put =Optus and then press enter to make the page reload when you do there should be an optus ticket option above the normal Aldult ticket option see pic on link

nicknguyen on 08/02/2012 - 11:05 ¶@melmac77: the optus trick doesn't work anymore, i've tried to put optus many times but the option didn't show up:(

You are right just checked they have changed it a usual ticket address looks like
'https://www.eventcinemas.com.au/tickets/order/step2?sessionid=2466126&bookingsource=web_sessions'
a cheap optus one is
'https://www.eventcinemas.com.au/tickets/order/step2?sessionid=2465955&source=optus'So just change the end of the address from bookingsource=whatever to source=optus
+1 votesonicentropy on 03/01/2012 - 02:32 ¶&bookingsouce=optus or &source=optus hack still works use the rydges link select the session then replace &xxxx at the end of the URL with one of the 2 above. Works with 3D movies $2 more
ScottLetts on 03/01/2012 - 07:19 ¶Indooroopilly event always has $10 tickets :)
Good deal for those that do not have local deals though
pogichinoy on 04/01/2012 - 00:34 ¶$1.10 is standard booking fee for paying for tickets online.
$11.10 ($10 + $1.10) applies to VMAX sessions.
$10 ($8.90 + $1.10) applies to standard sessions.
$13 ($11.90 + $1.10) applies to 3D sessions.
