Red Roosters are dodgy with their stores saying their dont have stock of the chicken in the $5 deal. However they have stock of all the other rolls in the normal menu.

Agree with what you have said, I'd completely change red roosters old lack lust menu and go a healthier route. That is the point of difference. They have a brand name but just choose to remain irrelevant.
Yes it's a good idea. Some of their items are a bit healthier, but not to a great extent. They should try to compete with Subway for the healthy market.
It's always been slow, expensive and average tasting in my opinion. It's surprising they still have 360 stores running - enough that you could go to a different red rooster store every day for an entire year.

I’m actually curious what people perceive as the issues? The food is generally fresher than somewhere like KFC and their menu is more diverse. While I don’t think they are the best fast food chain I don’t get the hate towards them.
My local red roosters awesome. But the other ones I’ve been to in other towns are all terrible. My local red rooster always has fast service, the restaurant is clean and nice inside, and the food is good. They also always are very busy. I’d say it down to the local stores that have tarnished their reputation. Same goes for dominos, my local restaurant makes awful pizzas.

Can confirm it's ended. But I left with a delicious quarter chicken and chips so can't complain.
The double zinger deal for ~$6.50+survey free chips and drink from KFC seems like supreme value over this deal.

Nope unfortunately. Yes the kfc hack deals can work out to be better. I was getting $4 off every meal for a while, thus I could get two zingers for $2.40 it was. Lol no deal was better than that.
I stopped going to red rooter after I saw this article where they were caught transporting chicken on cardboard boxes in the summer heat in a rooster vehicle.

Thats the red rooster store down the road from my work. I'm not proud of this but I still go there.

I too was devastated when I rolled into Red Rooster today to get my excellent value rooster roll lunch meal. I even argued that it will still on their website being advertised but had to settle for this meal instead. I'll wait for the rooster roll lunch to come up again before I go back. Chicken Roll, Chips and a drink for $4.95! That's where it's at people ;)
