    Dammit. Pickup only?

    • You can call up and order over the phone on the day, however delivery charges do apply. Tell me what you're looking at and your postcode and I can quote delivery to give you an idea.

I was looking forward to the X61 loaded with windows 8 developers preview and a notetaking app like oneNote. Any chance of delivery?

    • Hi spawnpoint7, as commented above to StevieRay you can call up and order over the phone on the day :) We ship Australia wide. If you tell me what you're keen on and a postcode ill give you an estimated delivery price

hey mr dereko, do you have a list of all specials in stock for saturday(maybe on your site or facebook etc) or are these 4 items just the specials? i like to check model numbers for features and price comparison

    • +1

It's the whole shop man. Make it easy for me and tell me what you're after roughly (i3, i5, i7, or even a price range) and i'll send you some options :)

Hey Dereko, what time do you open on Saturday? I would like to get an X61 too but I also have work on that day.

    • 9:00AM to 5:30PM

Bugger I work 9-3, any chance I could get one on hold and pick it up in the afternoon? I can prepay if necessary.

        • We can be really sneaky and I can process an order for you now if you like, a deposit would be needed which can be paid with credit card or PayPal. If you want to proceed, email me your name, address and phone number to [email protected] and i'll put it through for you.

What is the resolution of the X61 display? Is it the standard 1024x768 or the better 1400x1050? What is the condition of the battery, has it been replaced with a new one in the refurbishing process? Do you have any idea about the upgradability to Windows 7 (or 8!), such as availability of drivers etc? Can you give me an estimated delivery price to postcode 3629?

    • +1

Win 7 goes very well on these machines no driver issues, the only negative is the palm rest(right side) can get hot if using wireless heavily if not these were an executive machine and are very reliable and a great all round machine

    • 1024 x 768 is max screen resolution.
Postage to 3269 - $23, shipped to your door via TNT couriers.

Batteries are second hand, so would estimate you get minimum 1.5 hours out of them, some would last longer than others though, this comes down to the luck of the draw however! Upgrade is available and drivers are there, all you need is the Windows 7 COA + CD or upgrade CD and you're fine :)

What will be the postage for 3006 for X61? How long does it take to deliver? How is the condition of the laptop? Can I purchase and pay over phone?

        • $23 P+H. You can order through email to [email protected], send through your name, phone number and delivery address and we will send you back a invoice + payment details.

  • how many units of the x61 do you have?
what is the battery life like (2hrs?) and the screen condition also?
    thanks

    • Hi oncecentless,
We currently have 42 units available. Batteries are second hand, so would estimate you get minimum 1.5 hours out of them, some would last longer than others though, this comes down to the luck of the draw however!
Screens are in great condition, the digitised stylus pen provided has a soft touch tip so they don't even scuff or mark the LCD. You're welcome to inspect and test the machine personally when you come down too, just so we know you are happy before you pay and leave :)

  • The x61's aren't multi-touch are they?

    • The most important question is the touch screen need a special pen or we can use finger ? Because some Tablet PC need a special pen in order to interact with the touch screen.

      • spinbot - no :(
sahat - this is a "digitised" touch screen, so yes special pen is needed.

        • Still a good deal though

        • True, it cost almost 2K when it was introduce.

Tablet PC's were delivered on the Monday.
    Good job. Tablets Look Good.

I ordered 2 and they were kind enough to give me 2x targus laptop bag and an optical drive.

They still have the X61 tablet on sale for $199 but there is now an online order fee of $41

    Definitely scored a bargain. Thanks
