    Grundig is a pretty dodgy brand these days as well. Additionally I've struck many of their set top boxes that have quite poor reception.

I have the DGTEC, and it's basically the same player under a different badge. Same chassis, same connections, same remote, same on-screen interface.

The Grundig is reviewed here. I wouldn't rate it or its DGTEC equivalent that highly, mainly because of annoyances switching between TV and disc mode (e.g. may take fifteen seconds, may take three times that depending what mood it's in), but overall it's not bad for the price.
