This was posted 1 year 4 months 17 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
Guys,
I was in Costco yesterday and found this TV much cheaper than the last few post about this model on ozbargain.
Good price for the people willing to buy 64" TV.

also they don't offer extend warranty…
+2 votesAh extended warranty…
Check out consumerlaw.gov.au.
Apparently they're not allowed to sell extended warranty unless it offers benefits above those provided by the consumer guarantee. I tried to buy extended warranty on a F&P fridge over the weekend and was told it's no longer offered by the supplier.
I think this is a more explicit implementation of the "implied/statutory warranty". Happy for someone with more knowledge of this to correct me…

+2 votesyou don't need extended warantees with costco. They have a no questions asked lifetime refund/returns policy on all their products provided you still have membership.
However this is only valid for Australian CostCo's. America Costco onyl allows return within 90 days after purchase.I've read that some people have been able to return TV's bought 2-3 years ago for full refund, no issues at all.
This is from their site:
What is your refund policy? On Membership: We will refund your membership fee in full at any time if you are dissatisfied.
On Merchandise: We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell, and will refund your purchase price.

-1 votetyler.durden on 09/01/2012 - 12:06 ¶guess it is better to get led tv instead?
or a panasonic plasma?

this only happens on about 40% of these plasma's. my brother bought one and there is no buzzing, even if you put your ear up to the back of it. take it back if it buzzes, simple.
also worth mentioning you need to pay $60 joining fee or whatever it is to actually buy the TV.
This TV is tickect price @ JBHIFI for $1999. we got it for $1850 bout 4 weeks ago with 5yr wty + extra set of glasses + some underwater 3d movie.
