Energy Consumption 590kWh per year is quite high,
only 2.5 starts.
Id estimate 320 KWH is decent.(4.5 star) so this fridge consumes about 270 KWh a year more. @25c per kwh, that equates to 67.50 (if the kogan ad is honest.)
over the life of the fridge (lets say as little as ten years) it equates to about 675.00Id probably prefer to put that money into a better fridge.

That has the freezer at the bottom, it’s a different style fridge completely. You need to bend down and rummage for your frozen TV dinners, with this kogan fridge they will be at eye level.
my comment still stands. (re power usage) but yeah, its not identical.
im sure you could find a better brand for the better part of 14 hundred.. keep in mind thats only over 10 years, AND if Kogan is honest about the consumption.
AND thats with the kogan fridge being on special and other fridges not. wait for a decent deal on a good quality fridge.

Thanks for this, it makes all sense. In our case, we prefer to have the top fridge and bottom freezer so this style in haier model would suit us better.

It’s hard enough getting a portable air conditioner repaired by Kogan. Good luck if you’ve bought it hope it works out…. we just bought a Westinghouse, it’s lasted 5 years so far without a hiccup… and will continue to it seems…
For a product this large you should get 20 years out of it, can’t recommend Westinghouse enough.
IMHO water dispensers and ice makers are just asking for troublenow you tell me! my fisher paykel ice maker died a little while ago, makes a big ice block instead of ice cubes now :(

It looks like our Hisense Fridge inside and out. I think I paid $1099 for it.
Same, except we paid 1199. Even the power usage is the same according to the sticker.
Good price if it’s as good as identical looking fridges at good guys.
