    Probably still okay for gaming… but yeah, things are starting to look a bit rough at 1080p at 27 inches when you're sitting at your desk, close to the screen.

      Things are fine on my MSI 27" 1080p gaming VA panel monitor. But it does have a Samsung screen panel which makes a nice difference. Would you believe that one set me back about $450. Maybe you get what you pay for.

      I have no idea of the screen panel maker which Gigabyte put in this monitor as it doesn't say which. The maker of the screen panel makes a lot of difference. Some are really crap and so the picture quality may be poor because of it.

      If it has a Samsung screen panel then it's good.

      But basically if this has some generic screen panel in it then i wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. Gigabyte certainly isn't saying which company made the screen panel.

    Any chance of a better deal on the 32"? $2.50 off is a bit… meh. Looking for 3 if the price is right.
    EDIT - Oops, sorry that was another 27". The 32" (31.5) is defintely not on sale at that price…
