I finally managed to bring her into the 21st Century with the iPhone 4 (old but nice and small, so not too big of a step) to replace her Telstra-branded flip phone. I don’t think she knew how to delete mistakes on the old flip, since there would be random letters in between words at times!
Will test and see how this goes

Pretty good condition and everything seems to work ok. I haven't tried it long enough but need to check the battery life or anything

As above, they have definitions on their site, and they sound reasonable for the description. I’ve ordered a pristine 8.
From the site:
Pristine: Like new condition, flawless screen and body.
Very Good: Light scratches not visible at more than 12 inches. Screen may have light sign of wear, not visible when is in operation.
Good: Light but obvious scratches or dings visible on the screen and body.
Fair: Signs of use including potentially deep scratches and possible dents on the screen and body.
Just received my order for an iphone 8 in 'very good' condition. Really happy with it, i would have described it as pristine condition, i can't see any scruff marks at all !
Received my "Pristine" iPhone 8 64GB Silver today, it's completely unmarked just as described. If you didn't know you'd swear it was new.
bought one in very good condition and agreed it is….turned up in 2 days
