I got the seconds for around $240 and they've been fantastic so far.

    • Do you get the full 2 years warranty ACL with seconds?

      • Only 12 months. I've had good experience with a previous set of seconds headphones from Sony so am prepared to take the risk.

  • I bet every OzBargainer stocked at least 2 now.

  • Sony XM4 was selling on eBay for $300.80 on 20 March 2021 with AfterPay 20% discount.
This is price for brand new unopened packaging.

I missed that deal! But that’s the best price to date. The OW price match has been the best available price in the last few weeks.

      • Unless you urgently need a good wireless ANC headphone, I reckon you better wait, as Sony headphone prices are crashing this couple of weeks.

        • Why are they going to crash down further?

          • @Javelin: The Sony XM3 is still very popular cos it has AAC, AptX and LDAC system software.
It is crazy that Sony removed the AptX from the latest Sony XM4 Headphone.

            • @Michael Lim: Wow I see what you mean thank you for the insight! will be able to upgrade for not much price from my QC35's

        • The afterpay deal of $300.80 was a pretty good price so happy with that. LDAC is better than aptX I would have thought, and you want the low latency aptX version at that.
Still keen to test the 360 audio on Tidal and see what that's about since I've got the Sonys. Tidal MQA sounds fantastic with my good headphones and PC DAC.

Got my qc20 on eBay, may not be much demand for them now.

  • Great for Bluetooth headphones, for The afterpay deal, $300 well spent. Pair up nicely with android and The high res audio, not paying for overpriced airpods that only support aac codec

    • You are right.
Earphone can't compare to headphones in terms of ANC and sound quality.
Most earphones only lasted 6 hours compare to BT headphone that lasted over 30 hours usage time per charge.

    • iPhone only supports AAC, not AptX or LDAC.

      • Sony ANC Wireless Headphone XM4 also does not support AptX.
Those using Android system Phone, Tablet or Android TV or older phone system will be disadvantaged.
It is crazy that Sony removed the AptX from the XM4.
The last model Sony XM3 have the AptX software.

Sure, just replying to the comment above saying AirPods are inferior because of AAC. Everything on iPhone uses AAC.

          • @JSONBourne: Just to clarify, I was considering some airpods for use on an android device, but decided the sound quality would take a big hit (more noise/latency) as AAC is exclusively for Apple products (or at least not designed to go with Android). Not having a go at the codec, AAC lossless should be fine. Depends if you're an android or apple person :)

        • Dlac and high resolution Bluetooth seems to be better, perfect for Android.
Connect then check the developer audio settings

    ==================================

I wonder if OW will price beat the discounted price. If so that would make this $298.40

OW didn't match on discount codes but $314 cheapest price I've seen, thanks.
