    Was $20 cheaper recently.

    • ±1 I bought these in that sale. Don't regret it. Great speakers, especially when paired with a Subwoofer.

      • Plus or minus 1?

  • That seems pretty expensive for Ozzy. Got these for ~NZD$119 recently (Kogan).

    Edit. They're $99 here

    • Different versions this one has Bluetooth 5.0 hence the "s" in product name.

      • Ahh I see. Thank you for that info

    • Thats the non-s version, meaning you have a sub out port, and its got BT 5.0 and a refined remote pretty sure. However the R1700bts is cheaper??? https://www.amazon.com.au/Edifier-R1700BTs-Bluetooth-Bookshe…

      • How does the R1700BTS compare to this one?

        • ^ Same here idk which to buy.

          • @BashB0ss: The 1280s are more powerful with the inclusion of coaxial and optical inputs.

            • @jamba: So you reckon these are better? People have mixed opinons thats why I was not sure.

            • @jamba: The R1700Ts has 66W RMS listed and R1280DBs has 42W RMS listed.

Also, having digital inputs (optical and coax) as per the R1280DBs, is only of benefit if you know how good the DAC is that is built-in - for which there are no specs.

The R1700Ts is very slightly larger.

              R1280T RCA inputs (2) only.
              R1280Ts, RCA inputs (2), Sub-out.
R1280DB, RCA inputs (2), OPT input, Coax input, Bluetooth.
R1280DBs, RCA inputs (2), Sub-out, OPT input, Coax input, Bluetooth 5.0.
              R1700BT, RCA inputs (2), Sub-out, Bluetooth.
              R1700BTs RCA inputs (2), Sub-out, Bluetooth 5.0.

If you don't particularly want to enrich Jeff Bezos any more than necessary, they are $10 more expensive, $149, at Edifier Australia.
