      No way. Chip production hasn't improved much. There's going to be no stock when xmas comes around.

      Sony themselves have been bundling the console direct on their website. Wouldn't be suprised if we will see more bundling due to rising component cost/inflation.

    Just console is $749 (disk) Don't really want to fork over more than that… $160 for extras.. Good job on finding stock though!!!!

      It's only really the console that's hard to get. Controller and charger are a lot easier to find, basically always available on Amazon atleast. No way would I pay for a bundle where everything is RRP and then still have to pay extra for shipping, that's taking the piss.

    I got to checkout and added my details but standard shipping to me in WA was $36 and I just couldn’t justify paying that + an extra $160 on a bundle that I wouldn’t need the items from. I’m hoping there’s a big W drop today or Amazon tomorrow!

      There's a worldwide shortage of chips. Try finding a graphics card, it's slim pickings.
      Some car manufacturers are unable to make cars as they don't have the necessary chips to make the electronic systems in their cars.

      Its not a marketing skit.
      Demand for these consoles is really high and supply cant keep up due to the semiconductor shortages.

      Second half of 2021 it should return to normal hopefully.
