  • Highly interested, how do u recommend securing the camera itself from being stolen?

My understanding is its twist and release then disconnect ethernet cable

For my home cameras I don’t bother. I aim to have coverage of access routes so the person either has to be filmed before they steal it from the camera in question, or a secondary camera.

Depending on the house, mounting high is an option to deter theft.

  • Will you release update for RLN8-410-E to support this?

    • I have the same NVR. I initially though the AI Camera can work standalone and only store the footage to the nvr. But turns out you need the latest hardware to make them work. Already invested 6 of the D800 but the motion detection is less to be desired.

this camera has a wide gap between base and ball. while mostly metal casing, the middle section between mounting plate and this C cap is still plastic. the person tracking is fantastic, I can have it on full sensitivity and not one false alarm. the old 520 version has a lot of false triggers indoor every time a cloud passes by, flying insects can also trigger the alarm in night mode.
