  • $369 at UMART

    • Good spot, for click and collect.

  • How is this so cheap? What's the comparison like with the 27GL850?

    • +2

      27GL850 is better.
But this is cheaper. I would definitely consider this if this was the price bracket you were in

      • Thanks for the feedback - I think I'll save up and go for the LG

        • The LG is $644 on Amazon. Seems like it's gone down in price. I got mine pre covid for $700

Because it's a slightly inferior panel in an incredibly inferior chassis, not a bad monitor if the S2721DGF is out of your reach though

    • Id recommend getting the Dell 2721dgf when it comes down to the $400 mark again which it has done a few times recently. Same panel as the 27GL850.

The AOC AG273QXP also can be had closer to $400 with the right deal (and once again has the same panel) but I just had to return mine due to a horizontal line that appeared about 3 weeks after owning. Probably just bad luck with the panel but also possible quality issues with AOC.

    16:10 or bust.

Is this VX2705 or VX2758? I have 1 X VX2758 and looking to upgrade my second monitor to the exact same model.

    • VX2705, The panel seems to have the exact same specs in terms of colour, but looking further it actually looks like the buttons are on the front as the newer model compared to VX2758. also instead of 1x HDMI 2.0 and 1x HDMI 1.4 it has 2x HDMI 2.0 (With 1x DP)

      • No worries. Thanks for the info mate.

  • Appreciate if anyone can give feedback on whether this would be a decent monitor for gaming using the PS5?

    Im a monitor newbie

    • Not till PS5 supports 1440P. They are 1080 and 4K only at the moment.

      • Thanks, that's definitely important information

  • Don't get this monitor. It has known flickering issues at 144hz and the controller is poor quality. Mine started dying 3 months in.

Hardware Unboxed gave this a crap review:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9piyGNJz2M Response times are WAY worse than the previous gen of this monitor.

  • What would you recommend for an Xbox series x? I have three I’m looking at - this one, the ViewSonic VX3211-4K 31.5inch 4K UHD TFT LCD or BenQ EW3270U 31.5" 4K UHD HDR FreeSync VA LED. What do people recommend?

    • Just of note, while 4k monitors are supported by xbox x and 1440p are not, both of the other 2 monitors are 60hz, they are also VA panels which are generally slower response times (Not the best for online gaming).
