          2019? The studio was based in Brisbane and I know one of the developers in person. They were well-recognised as a raising star but their game didn't sell very well.

    don't miss out on alien isolation if you don't have it, easily one of the best AAA horror games of the last decade.

      Alien Isolation is a great game. Originally played on 360 but was also released on PS3/4, XB1 and Windows in 2014. Linux and Mac OSX in 2015. Then later on Switch in 2019.

        In my experience it was a little janky, more important are the handful of great quality of life mods that change the gameplay up a bit

      Three is a reminder feature just above the comments, set a date/time. Often dealbot will mention the current week's offers when he posts the next, but reminder works.

    Hand of Fate made me think of the old 1993 DOS/MAC Westwood Studios/Virgin Interactive 2D point-and-click adventure game. The Legend of Kyrandia: Book Two - Hand of Fate.

    God damn Alien Isolation was good. Absolutely nails the look and sound and feel of the original Alien movie in a way that few other games have ever managed to with any source material.

    It goes off the rails a bit in the last third when it feels like they just couldn't help themselves and had to start trying to make Aliens instead of Alien, but apart from that it is outstanding.

    Alien Isolation had the best AI of any computer game ever made
    It can be a little tedious though

    This week's freebies links not working anymore, think the games switch over already. These epic games deals have very annoying formatting in the post where we see on the front page the next week's games and not the current weeks.

    Have activated Deponia Complete last week which I already own on Steam, been hanging out for Pillars of The Earth for years as it looks great and watched the trailers a few times over seems like a good game. Showing as over $40 now though again, shame. Might have to bite the bullet and sail the high seas for this one.

    Haven't heard anything about First Tree but looks okay for free but sadly seem to have missed it somehow.

    Was anyone else able to claim Alien Isolation twice?

    I already claimed it when it was free back in December, so this time round when viewing the page I expected to see the 'Owned' button, but instead it was showing the 'Get' button, and I was able to claim it again. Now it appears in my transactions list twice.

    Is this a different version to the previous one maybe?

      Same. I claimed the game last time as well and didn't see it as OWNED even though it was in my library. Previous giveaway was just the base game. This giveaway also includes Alien: Isolation - Last Survivor DLC $4.99. So I claimed again to get that. Now says OWNED for both game and DLC pack.

        On Friday 23/4 morning the store page for Alien Iso still said game owned (for previous claimants), but this has changed as you found out, and people should claim it again to get the DLC

    Update title please - as g12345567 says you should repurchase it even if you own it as it now includes the Last Survivor DLC.
