  I ummed, arred and eventually bought the Barracuda Bay set at the start of Easter (that only eventually arrived a few days ago!), and now this happens!
  I had forgotten this set existed. The only one left on my BrickHawk alerts is Elf Clubhouse.
  Although as much as I desire a horror-themed set, this didn't wow me as much when I saw it in the the LegoStore, not as much as Barracuda Bay and the Ideas Treehouse: an irony, perhaps, that they might actually be better looking than they really are.
  Tough decision.

    To my knowledge this is the first time this has been discounted. You will have more opportunities. And, if Kmart get it, they will probably have a good everyday price (not quite this cheep though).

      I think I'm hoping for Target or BigW as they seem to do good sale prices on Lego. Kmart as best for, as you say, everyday prices, but rarely put them on further discount.
      I'm assuming the days of 20% off Myer eBay coinciding with 20% off at Myer for double-discounts are over? I haven't seen this for over a year.

    I agree. I want to like this set, but it has no wow factor.

    The aesthetic on the older haunted house seemed better. Although the internals needed some sprucing up.

      Maybe you guys have only come back to Lego recently… the current haunted house is chock full of references to older sets. There are some good YouTube videos revealing all the Easter Eggs.
