Thanks, I grabbed the first volume as it's only 94 cents.

    https://www.amazon.com.au/100-Eternal-Masterpieces-Literatur…

100 of the greatest novels for under a dollar, what a time to be alive!

YOU TURN IN YOUR BADGE, RIGHT NOW

    • +1

Conspiracy theorists will say that this was exactly the reason why Volume 2 was made free….

    • +10

I don't want to die so I won't be reading them.

    • +5

Hahaha that's how they get ya. Give away send vol for free so you have to buy the first volume. All these books are available for free elsewhere

    • HaHa, I looked at this too but resisted. Do I keep my badge?

  • +10

    Free is free, but:

    • These books are all normally free, anyway
    • It's not a very well-selected top 100 free classics list, lots of better ones missing
    • Reviews say some of the books listed are missing
    • Reviews say there's no good table of contents, so unless you want to read every single one, there's no practical way to find the one you want.
    • +3

There is a table of contents for each book, and then for each chapter.

Source: I looked myself via the kindle app.

  • Thank you, OP.

    No Harry Potter?

    • You are kidding, right?

100 books I’ll never read before I die

  • @Lysander … thanks O/P… loving your posts and my back is thanking you too, although my backpack is complaining about the lighter workload :)

  • Apparently my kindle is linked to my AU Amazon account and I cannot make use of this offer.
Do you guys know if there is an easy workaround ?

    Thank you!

  • Thank you OP.

These are all public domain books that you're better off downloading separately at https://standardebooks.org

If you genuinely want to read them, be careful of novels not written originally in English since the public domain translations are usually not the best available. For example, these are going to be the Constance Garnett translations of the Tolstoy novels, and they are not now generally recommended.
