You might want to put the company/merchant in the title, as indicated in the title guidelines. Also: $4.50 for a single Lego figure? Is that a joke?

  • +4

I hate "Cost price plus XX"… it just sounds so fake.

  • +3

Prices don't seem that much cheaper than standard retail

    e.g. : http://www.treasuresforlittlepeople.com.au/legoreg-city-4645…
    compared to Big W
    http://www.bigw.com.au/toys/construction/lego/city/bpnBIGW_0…

    thats without shipping costs.

  • -3

$4.50 a figure is to cover postage. Sell cheaper by the box. Cost plus XX is legit, I put them all up tonight. Finish on 30th. If fake, find better.

    • What's this special on the minifgs box wise? Looking at purchasing multiple items, also can you confirm shipping price

  • +3

I dont see a deal here..
    these this:
LEGO® Ninjago 2170 Spinner Cole DX
BigW sells for $10, these guys are selling them for $12.

    • +4

OMG bigw sell for below cost price?!??? Lol

    • -2

      cost is $10.56

      • +14

        then wouldn't cost price +3% = $10.88 not $12???

        • +2

"Cost plus XX is legit, I put them all up tonight"

          ..

        • Agreed, doesnt look like a good deal at least to me.

      • Perhaps you're buying Retail?

Or… more likely… just NOT buying ENOUGH to win low prices, like Big W does.

Join forces with other small players (After all, this is the Int'l Year of Cooperation …or is it cooperatives?)

The way you're going, you don't seem to be able to compete with even -Aussie- size large stores… ;-)

        My 2.2 cents only… YMMV

Some great advice, although not directly related to Lego. I would like to see you try and stare OzB'ers down though…

By the way, what are your shipping rates?

  • For Duplo, they seem cheaper, just.
Yogee.com.au has same sets for just $2 more…

Maybe Lego doesn't have much mark up, I don't know, but it ain't cheap… Maybe I can just get my son a cardboard box? He might enjoy that…

    Cardboard Box? Priceless…

  • Saw the LEGO® Ninjago 9446 Destiny's Bounty set for $89.99 free shipping for orders over $75.

This site has it for $95…

    They aren't all terrible,

    http://www.justbricks.com.au/products.php?product=7946-LEGO%…
    RRP of $169.99

    $125 with these guys
    http://www.treasuresforlittlepeople.com.au/legoreg-kingdoms-…

There are probably a few bargains to be found, I suggest for your next deal maybe show the savings from RRP, also probably focus on 1 or 2 items rather than a catalog for now.

Edit: I would also like to add for the rep that you were pretty rude about the $4.50 comment, I know people on here can be knobs but as a professional you have to be polite, otherwise what's the point of advertising?

Edit2: Last one, your comment about the figure was that it was to cover postage, is postage free on everything? I didn't find anything mentioning that.

Do u have the Lego clocks. I'll buy 10 of them. Google / amazon them guys.

  • +3

A few sets are actually more expensive than they were 3-4 months ago. For example, your site was selling the mobile police dog unit for $14.00 back in September 2011. Now it's $17.00. The mobile police truck was $55.00 at the time, now it's $59.00..

Agreed, spam. Cost price very dodgy. Should be off RRP. Also, what's the deal with postage. Sarcastic rep.

  • Looking for a lego train for my boys, site has the passenger train $30 cheaper than I've seen it anywhere else

  • It's 20% off at Target at the moment, in almost all cases you're better off with that.

    • Doesn't show up - AFAI can see - on Target's online store.

(And, I can't find any of the NXT robotics starter kits, etc. there)

And - again, in the online store - LEGO toys are under "Boys" toys.

      That's a bit sexist, I reckon…

I suspect its in store only, their website is pretty average at the best of times.

Cost plus 3%??!! I guess Target is making a lot less these days.

LEGO® Bricks and More 6166 Large Brick Box $40

    @ Target LEGO® Large Brick Box 6166 $39.99

A lot of these prices are just same or little short I can get at Target. No bargain here.

.. and I can just walk into a Target store.

  • not much of a deal here, looks like retail prices more like it

  • Did you really buy $50 000 worth of stock and are now liquidating - are you closing down?

  • Two things. This January has been shocking for sales. Its across the board in retail. We are lucky in we are small and our costs are very low. Everyone is copping it in the neck. We have a lot of stock left over from xmas (as does everyone). Second, we are getting all the new feb/march releases (girls stuff, city, ninjago, figs) plus the new June releases, so its time to cash up.

Others are doing the same, slashing prices. I've seen some unreal deals around. Target is good, but no stock. Some of the online boys are good, but we will keep slashing until we get movement. Check out an independent run-down here: http://www.bricksdownunder.com/2012/01/aussie-online-deal-ro…
