I've been keeping an eye out on a USB-C Charger, and this is the best price I've seen on this one.

Apparently identical to the MINIX NEO P1, which is well regarded. This is slightly cheaper, and with this you'll have fast local Amazon delivery!

    zyron has travel adapters, that a real plus. but maybe the other comes with as well, page is a little messy and not conclusive.

    otherwise 3 outlets vs 2. black vs white. aaarrrggghhhhh it's a political thing now.

  What is the advantage of having USB-C on the charger? USB-A to USB-C cable plus USB-A charger seems to be a cheaper option - am I missing something?

    It impacts on the devices it is capable of charging. For example laptops with USB-C charging, which these types of chargers will support the right protocols (PD, PPS) and provide the correct voltage/current.

    USB-PD is the standard for power delivery, and requires USB-C.

    My chromebook charges at 18W from the USB-C port, but only 8W from USB-A

    If your current phone supports QC2 or QC3 quick-charge, it may not matter, but this is a 66W charger for laptops, and the only way to get that is USB-PD.

  FWIW, I got mine and both of the USB-C ports were misaligned, so couldn't use it. Sent it back for a refund unfortunately.
