Not as good as the x50 lite that was 50 bucks cheaper earlier. On a side note, I have issues with the OS cutting data to some messaging apps (e.g signal) meaning messages don't come in until I open the app, any ideas on how to fix that?

    • Just wondering if Vivo X50 lite is better than Y70? If so what's the difference as they are essentially using the same hardwares.

      • better cameras, OLED screen, probably the two most important areas. Maybe check compare on gsmarena.com for more detail

        • Thanks.

        • Y70 fast charging seems to be faster as its 33W. Camera might be a bit worse off.

          • @arctan: Charging isn't so much an issue, I get easily 2 days with it so I charge while I sleep. Also it's charged from 10% to 74% just now in well under an hour, so that's more than a day's worth of charge and completely no issue for 99% of users I'd say.

OLED screen you look at all the time, Camera is really great, friend that uses iPhone and Galaxy Note (not sure which models) thought the photos on this looked clearly better, so some real differentiators for a $200 that make it (to me) as good as a 1k phone

Go into Settings > Battery > High background power consumption. In the list, find Signal and any other apps having issues and select "Allow". Fixed the issue for me on my x50 Lite.
