  • Grabbed one of each, cheers OP! (Broadway Sydney Pickup)

    • Why two?

      • +3

        I've got 2 TVs

        • +1

          that's fair : )

    • +4

Unbelivable that you're getting negged for getting 2. Its the people thats getting truckloads that should.

  • No stock

  • Got one at my local store - seems to good to be true. How have people gone in the past ordering and collecting from Target?

    • +1

Got my Ps5 a few months back from Target click & collect. Took 3 days to be delivered to my home store (Canberra) but very easy collection process.

      • Ok seems I just got lucky with checking the website when stock was added. Was looking at the website just before this was posted and thinking there must be a mistake as it said collection in 3-7 business days. Then I saw it posted on here and thought well I need to just go for it otherwise I will miss out…

  • Stock at Erina

  • thanks, click and collect worked (vic). though i wont be collecting for a while ahhahha

  • do you guys go for the disk or digital?

    • +6

Disk to play PS4 games, for cheaper games and for resale value on games.

    • +1

digital because I can always checkout with giftcards :)
I wont use gift cards after a 1 X $500 though and risk OOS .

      • what gift cards do you use?

        • Target .

    • +3

Went disk. Can buy second hand/trade games and physical stock seems cheaper.

    • If you go digital you are limiting yourself to only being able to get games from the PSN store and if you wanted to get a new release you will be looking at $100+ a game when discs will probably be more $60-$80. If there were 3rd party sellers of games for playstation might change things but that won't happen.

are people siting on this website 24/7 ??

    • probably

    • +4

      No 23 hrs .

      • +1

well you know some of us have jobs and actually need to work during the day. or else I would be on this site 24 hours a day.

      • Popsiee u nailed it 🤣🤣

    • +1

Randomly checking since some other stores had stock earlier this week

    • there are other things to do?

      • Leave this site to actually buy.

    • don't call me out like that :(

  • Just a FYI for those based in the Epping area (3076). Looks like you can C&C from KMART Epping (3076) for those interested.

  • Edit: Scratch that.
Still showing available to pickup from Narellan NSW

  • both OOS

    • Out of stock on my page too.

  • Every time when I see this, I just add to my cart, and stop before payment. Amazon, bigw, target. Can not remember maybe 5,6 times. I like gaming but I know I won't have time to play, it will just collecting dust, join my PS3 Xbox one X, switch.i'd rather leave for others who have time to enjoy. Hope one day everyone can just walkin and buy straight away.

If you bought them you have a free PS5 Disk by now .

      • I know, i hate those scalpers, that's why I refuse to join them.

        • +1

If you follow every PS5 deal you would have figured out the person you just responded to has bought one or more each time they were available.

          • @Lucille Bluth: Not really , TheGamesmen are the impossible one . All others are fine barring EBGames :)

    • I’m in the same situation, not just for PS5 but another PC system. Can afford it but wouldn’t have much time to play with.

      • True, money can not buy you more time.

  • how can I get an alert for these deals?

    • I was looking across the different websites to set an alert when I came across this in stock. Sadly it looks like none of the websites selling this let you set an alert. They either have it delisted when out of stock or do not allow for alerts to be set.

      Edit: found this page https://store.sony.com.au/playstation-5/PLAYSTATION5W.html

    • No, keep refreshing ozbargain or those web

    • +1

I just watch for notifications from others who have done the hard yards, e.g. https://twitter.com/AustraliaPs5

    • Subscribe to the "PS5 Stock Alerts Australia" Twitter feed (@AustraliaPs5). If you're quick to check out after a tweet goes out you should get one for sure.
I've now had a few friends trying in vain to get one who scored one after following this account.

      Edit: Derp… What he said ^ :-)

    • Ps5stock.com.au

  • Got an order confirmation and now it’s cancelled.

    • same, got refunded.. :(

  • +1

    Digital is still in stock

    • Just worried id fill out the memory pretty quickly and its not expandable yet?

      • -1

I think it is now. I believe you can store on external and transfer to main when you want to play it.

        • Sounds like a pain to do?

          • @xtommyk: Not ideal but if you keep spare space on your external HDD then you can transfer a game you don't want from PS5 to HDD, then transfer a game you do want from HDD to PS5.

Likely a better and faster solution than deleting and redownloading games all the time.

      • Does it make a difference? You'd need to install from the disc anyway.

    • +1

Placed a digital one. See how it goes.

    • Good 1 .

  • Not sold out for Disk version, just got one.

  • Bought 1 Disc Version from Cranbourne Store

  • Yes. It seemed that Target has just released more stock to NSW stores

  • +2

Target auto cancel orders. Fking hell

    • Yeah dodgy af

    • how does that work? does their system let them take in more orders than available?

      • got no fking idea. Every order - straight away "Your order could not be processed. Please allow up to seven business days for this to be refunded. Any payments made by gift card will be refunded onto your original gift card."

        Their system is a joke

        • That's because the account is flagged/blacklisted of some sort. Same thing happens whatever you buy I think. At least when I try to buy Lego from Target nowadays.

          • @lilkid28: How to get around it?

            • @cyrax83: I have tried many different options, like swapping first and last name. Putting house number as 1O instead of 10. Different mobile. Only 1 out of 10 times went through, when I tried to buy Lego.

          • @lilkid28: How do you get your account flagged/blacklisted?
Just curious so I don't have the same problem.

            • +1

@Steakz: 1) They prefer to ship to non remote areas .
              2) Don't return anything Too many fussy LEGO buyers that run them around with little dents that on the open market is only worth about 5% less.
              3) Bonus abuser that open multiple account chasing a measly $10 can become unstuck with all names banned .

              • @popsiee: Fair enough, none of them apply to me so should be good.
Still bit dodgy practices for a business that size, tho #3 is understandable.

    • Yea target is well known for auto cancellation, so does their legos

  • Disk version back in stock aroudn Townsville as well.

  • Page was removed. OZBed

  • anyone had theirs confirmed? Mine sitting as processing still (no cancellation yet) but i got a confirmation email (but pickup not confirmed yet)

    • My digital order is the same status as you. I tried to get disk version but it’s been cancelled now.

    • got an email saying mine is confirmed

      • yeh mine says confirmed in email. On the site it says processing. Wonder how long until its ready to be collected

        • I'm in the same boat. Going off what the website says and what someone said earlier it will take 3-7 working days for collection. This is because they seem to hold the stock in a warehouse and then ship them out to the store as they are purchased (with apparently a limited stock allocation per store).

      • any update on yours? mine says 'packing' now

        • me too

        • They have now shipped mine to the store from Victoria

          • @lukethefish: You from QLD? I'm from VIC, ordered 3 times and got cancelled. Crazy…

            • @lilkid28: Yeah QLD. Other people on here saying that Target seem to always mess up their orders. Other than that potentially they kept selling out at the store(s) you chose. I am picking up from a regional store so perhaps there was not much competition for stock allocated to that store.

          • @lukethefish: Mine also says 'shipping to your store', wonder how long this will take. I hear Target are really poor at this click and collect system lol

            • @WetWaffle: I would assume it is by road. So 3-7 business days after ordering as they quote sounds reasonable.

  • Just got a refund email now. So lucky I ended up making a second order when the first order mentioned that it was up for review. The second order was confirmed immediately.
I knew something wasn't right as soon as it said it was up for review.

  • Order got confirmed at 2:35, and got cancelled at 2:50. What a bummer!

  • Placed order but it said they would contact me at the very end. Not charged no email confirmation. Does this mean nothing has happened? Today is just another missed PS5 day?

    • Check your online target account if you have one but seems unlikely that your order went through properly if you were not charged.

      • used guest checkout, no any sort of following up. Thank U anyway.
