  • The 2nd link you posted is Homebase + doorbell camera ?
If you buy both you would have 2 doorbell cams?

    • +2

This should be posted as a deal - free crowd sourced monitoring of your Eufy home security cameras!

  • Does the standalone doorbell work with homebase 1?

    • +1

product description: Requires eufy Homebase 1 or eufy Homebase 2 to operate

Good camera but the motion detection sucks

    • I can confirm, motion detection is woeful.

    • Mine works great, I just hate the delay

      • +1

Quick! 000 get to the property they are in my house RIGHT NOW!!!

"M'aam, the actually happened 1 week ago.. the lag sucks on those cameras"

        • +1

That would be strange, to see people rock up to your door, days after their funeral.

    • I don't have any issues with the motion detection.
Maybe check your Sensitivity setting in the app?
I've got mine set to 3 (out fo 5) and my front gate is maybe 5-6 metres from the doorbell.
Picks up people coming in the gate and in roughly 6 months of having the doorbell I've had 2 'false' alerts for people walking past the gate whilst walking their dog (I have a 6 foot fence, but a see-through gate)

Man, I've tried every combination of settings possible. It goes from detecting things outside the zone, and then missing couriers walking up to the door, to just detecting nothing at all. I found high sensitivity and 'human only' to give the best results, but then it drained the battery in 2 weeks - I guess from all the false detections it was filtering

  • Can anyone confirm will the wired version, which is also on sale, likely just work with existing Australian doorbell wiring/voltages?

    • +1

Yes it does. I took off my existing doorbell and connected up the Eufy to the same wiring.
I was getting 14v on the wiring to my existing doorbell.
The Eufy doorbell works with 6v-24v

  • Correction…..8v-24v
