  • Would anyone recommend this vs the Viomi V3 for only $90 more? Is there really much of a difference between the two

    • +1

Much bigger battery and slightly better suction

      • +1

Decisions …… I see the V3 also has separate and bigger dust/water containers

        • +2

If you have a big house then it’s worth the extra

    • I bought the V3 for $80 more.

I live in a two storey house so the battery life and suction power is an advantage.

It also has a disinfectant system when it mops which I think will be beneficial as I have a child and a dog.

  • The accessories lists “HEPA”. Does this actually have a HEPA filter then?

    • +1

      washable HEPA

      • Impressive in a bot this cheap right? Most bots I've seen in this price range usually have a three stage filtration system or something.

  • How does this compare to other cheap robo vacs? We have a dusty floorboard house so would be handy to set something up that’s more frequent than our monthly mop hahahhaa

$308.99 here with 20% off ebay plus offer… also free shipping
+ add ebay gift cards from Shopback less 5% (around $15 further off), or celebration gift cards from Wollies (another $30 of WW credit there).

    • price just hiked?

      • Promo code is PLUSTI20 which takes $77.25 off the $386.24 price.

    • Does ninja buy do oz stock?

      • Ninja buy and PC Byte are same I think.
Bought the same robot from ninja.buy last time. Came with Au plug and Warranty.

Their reply when I asked about warranty.

        Hi there,
Thank you for the message. Kindly refer to the attachment from the Xiaomi AU website, for Viomi, the warranty will be 12-months. You may contact Xiaomi or contact us for a warranty. Normally, if the purchase was made from our shop, we advise you to come to us for a warranty and we will be the one who liaises with Xiaomi AU.

  • Has anyone actually used the V3? think my daughter has the V2 & is happy, but our place is bigger

  • +1

Viomi V2 Pro was discounted to $299 just a few weeks ago @ eBay from same seller I reckon, including FREE delivery.
Was thinking of buying it but decided to wait for Xiaomi Roborock S5 Max price dropping to $487 again…. hehe

    • I would prefer the S5 max too but it's currently more then 2x the price and I don't think these will be at the price for a while.

      • Roborock just launched S7 this month, and S6 Max and S6 Pure last year.
So, the price will definitely drop soon, I reckon.
        Just be patience $450+ levels.

  • are any of these have a reliable zone cleaning? My older gen resets the map often as well as rotates it, making zone cleaning impossible =(
    Just want a reliable one

  • I have this, reliable works really well can runs up to 2 hrs. I use the vacuum mode only never tried the mopping.

  • Does anyone have any comments on ongoing costs associated with these..I read a review saying annually it estimated it would cost $96 a year to maintain..I have no idea if this is "normal" for robot vacuums but seems a high amount to me!

    • Where is $96 figure coming from? Electricity?

      • Replacing HEPA filter and brushes and estimates needing a new battery every 2 years approximately..

        • I had a s50 for 3 years,.the most I spend on the new side and main brush. Cost may be $30

  • AU $262.45
