  • What is this for?

    • Came here to ask the same question.

      Google says

Dryer sheets work by reducing static, depositing scents and helping make laundry feel softer to the touch.

      Although this deal is for

Offer only applies to Fragrance Free only

Fabric softener does the other two in the wash, so I guess just for static. I don't experience that with my clothes though in the dryer

        Apparently these aren't dryer sheets.

They are laundry sheets (as in actual detergent of some sort).

I have used dryer sheets occasionally for my polyester gym clothes, but I guess these are no use to me.

Oh my bad. I clearly have absolutely no idea what these are for then.

          • @Lucille Bluth: About the only thing I've ever used laundry sheets for was hiking, when I was hiking in/out from a town.

Other than that I have no idea.

    • They're laundry detergent in the form of sheets.

      • Can I ask what benefit these have over laundry powder? $0.36 per sheet/wash seems to be expensive

They're vegan in case you want to eat them I guess

        • They save the environmental cost of transporting heavy washing powder, and they're compact and convenient for travel.

    • We’ve been using a similar product for about a month now. Mrs C was wanting an alternative laundry detergent that didn’t come in a plastic bottle (like liquid soaps) and powders don’t play well with our front-load washer (it can cake up in the detergent drawer). This is different, you chuck a laundry sheet into the machine first then load your clothes and run as normal. The sheet dissolves in the water and turns into soap. The advantage, as stated by the OP, is no plastic waste afterwards, compact storage, and lighter than a box of powder. So far, the one we’ve been using is pretty good; the only problem we’ve had is one got pasted onto the top of the glass and didn’t wash off completely, so it turned into a gooey lump. (That’s how we learnt to stick the sheet in first before the clothes.) At full price it will likely turn out more expensive per wash, but if I’m able to afford it then I don’t mind doing my bit to reduce plastic waste. You can make your own mind up.
