  • So does it work this way?
—> We use our Australian dollars to buy the $100 US dollar iTunes card. But it only costs $80 USD due to the savings. Which is about $72 AUD. If we buy with a international transaction fee free card like 28 Degrees we don't pay any extra fees. They send us the iTunes card information via email. The apps, programs and music on a US iTunes account are cheaper than it is on our Australian iTunes account. So for $72 AUD we get $100 USD worth of purchases which should get more in our pocket than a $100 itunes balance in Australia. Pretty good deal. And easier than driving 20mins across Brisbane to the closest Supa IGA to get the $50 itunes card for $35.

    • Well I just bought two $100 cards. They have no real expiry date (being 2 years from purchase if never activated, or 2 years from last use on the iTunes account). So my $200 US value will enable me to buy heaps of MacOS X apps and some music. Good deal.

  • I'm still waiting for my code and I bought it 6 hours ago! Best Buy had an error in their system last time I tried to purchase off them so they had to cancel it. After 4 weeks of emailing they finally gave me a $20 voucher.

    • I finally got my codes delivered by email this morning at 1am. So that is quite a wait. I think it might have been to do with the Australian credit card company delaying payment.

I was worried originally when it wasn't sent immediately. But after thinking about it more I realised that I would get my goods (or my money back) eventually, so I decided to wait. I didn't need it urgently anyways.
