the only problem with edifier there is too many part numbers for a regular consumer. I can understand BT part but I can find very similar part numbers of 5 at least dont know whats the difference.

Anyway I pulled the trigger for 55, intenting to connect to Hisense TV.

    Was $45 yesterday

    • +1

Yup, and I too missed out. With CR cashback this comes down to $48.40

    • +1

Colour is worth the extra $10 imo

  • Anyone has it and can share a review? Is there any noticeable Bluetooth delay?

  • +1

Received mine today. Great value for a pair of budget speaker

    • How do they sound?

      • Better than echo

  • +1

Well they look great as PC speakers if any issues with Bluetooth sync at least it has a 3.5mm jack

Though love too know anyone's opinion about these speakers, mainly after if any issues with Bluetooth sync and are they reasonably good sounding speakers compared to say low (~2-3 watts) built-in speakers you'd find in a a pc monitor, well are they reasonably loud I'm asking 👍😁

  • Noob question, so this can connect with bluetooth to my pc, then my blue tooth headphone can also connect to my pc at the same time?

    • This depends on your laptop.

      • mine is a desktop pc, would it work like the above?

        • still depends on the bluetooth module. Also, more often than not, audio will only output to one audio device unless you make it mirror another device.

What exactly are you trying to do? Is it to answer calls on headphones and others stuff on speaker?

          • @shadow131: oh at the moment my pc has this horrible speaker, I am thinking of connect Edifier to my desktop, and then connect my bluetooth headphone to the pc to get a better sound.

    • I think Windows doesn't handle bluetooth music/audio very well. might want to check this

Doesn't seem to be any mention of Bluetooth on those…

  • How do these compare to the Logitech z623?

    • +2

Not at all unless you absolutely need bluetooth. The 623 has 200w rms power. 130 for the sub and 70 for the speakers. Peak power is double that. The Z623s go insanely loud for a 2 speaker setup. I know this because I was about to buy the Edifiers and mentioned it to my partner and she pointed out I already had a spare set of speakers (That i forgot about), the Z623

      • Sound quality though?

        • +1

I cant really give a clear answer on that. I plugged the Z63s in and they sound worse than my usual sound system (8 budget towers. 4 book shelf speakers, 2 centers and 6 subs *edit because…I apparently have more speakers than i thought) which is dead because my main amp died and I cant afford to spend 800+ for a new amp right now. But they sound better than my UE Megaboom 3, louder and infinitely more bass. They also sound slightly worse than my Sennheiser HD599s with an amplifier, slightly less clear but more bass. If that helps

Just grabbed a pair. I needed some speakers for my turntable and I think these will work quite well.
    Thanks OP.

If you must buy a cheap pair of speakers (non Bluetooth) for desktop PC. Try the creative pebble 2.0
Outstanding sound for its price and size. Clarity is amazing on that one.

    It's around $35 I think on Amazon.

    • $29 plus CB right now as a prime flash deal - 50% claimed

  • Edit: nevermind

  • This is only Bluetooth 4? So I'm expecting fair bit of delay right?

    • I'm hoping not, we'll I bought one pair at $69 on Amazon (which is still cheaper then a lot of other places) as missed out on this deal, I'll be happy if there slightly above average as my monitor only has 2x 2.5 watt speakers so hoping these are louder, so if any issues with bluetooth sync delays well these have the direct aux input so then no issues as I'll plug directly into my monitor and I'll use bluetooth for pairing too my phones for music so bluetooth sync delays won't be an issue also, these look great too 👍😁

  • Ok 3x times the price but do consider one gets a large sub woofer and higher quality and with higher wattage
