  • Include soccer boots?

    • Yep, see 'footy boots'.

Footy players wear soccer boots too.

  • Ummm you might want to specify which shop in the title.

Otherwise, thanks for letting us know. I'm a fan of Paul's Warehouse.

What's new? This is just free advertising… The Paul's Warehouse 'buy one get one free' promotion has been going on for years now.

    • This is no bargain, just advertising. Reported to mod for action.

So if you do something often enough, it's no longer a bargain?

If that's the case, then the MyGroceries poster is just advertising catalogues as you say.

      • mygroceries posts weekly specials

        • +2

And the difference is exactly what? Is that the same as saying only regular weekly posters are allowed?

Paul's Warehouse offer different goods on BOGOF in their catalogue as does Coles/Woolies offer different products on special every week. IMO they are both as valid as each other. The only difference is Paul's Warehouse is by a rep (oh noes, not the rep!) whereas MyGroceries is by a third party (AFAIK anyway).

          Haters gonna hate.

How can you even compare the two…? This Pauls Warehouse 'promo' has been ongoing for years without expiring. The MyGroceries poster goes through all the weekly supermarket catalogues and finds 40 of the best savings specials. It's not advertising, it's actually posting bargain savings which change weekly.
In no way is the MyGroceries poster advertising other than in their name and avatar. They just share the best of the supermarkets weekly specials with the community.

On the other hand, I say this Paul's Warehouse post is just advertising because the promo has already been posted in the past and the rep is just re-posting it. If a regular user (non-rep) posted this promo, then it would have just been deleted for being a dupe as it has many times in the past as it's an ongoing promotion which doesn't expire (or at least hasn't as of yet).

And the difference is exactly what? Is that the same as saying only regular weekly posters are allowed?

yes, because mygroceries posts deals that change weekly, unlike this one

i am not a hater, I just dont make naive analogies on the internet :)

        • Ace: I would accept that argument if the catalogue was offering exactly the same deal on exactly the same items but they get new stock which makes it no different from MyGroc. Plus when was the last time you saw a Paul's advert? Hardly spam or a reportable offence.

Plus when was the last time you saw a Paul's advert?

Monthly via letterbox junk mail and weekly via e-mail (sign up to VIP discount card).

Two-for-one deals are the norm at Paul's Warehouse, that is why this is not a bargain.

When they run a percentage-off sale on top of the 2-for-1 deal (VIP nights), or when they have a $10 special on goods, then it is a bargain.

        • I meant on here.

  • anyone dealt with this company or bought from them?

    • Topic search them for some ozb gossip

I've bought New Balance shoes from them for years when they have their two for one. They have a number of stores as well as the online store. The one is Sydney CBD is near the cinemas in George St.

    • Company is fine and good, decent prices, not a huge range in the 10-11 sizes but decent enough

  • are these levis the same as you would buy in other retail shops? or inferior quality?

  • Yep.
Their BOGOF sale is as common as mud.
No bargain here, just representitives spam.

  • So I can buy a left shoe, and get a right shoe? That would be "buy one, get one free".

  • +1

I made one purchase from them, let's just say that I will never purchase from them again, I buy from Wiggle or the New Balance store in Fitzroy in Melbourne.

    • why?

      • Because… come on, it's Wiggles time!

  • Go away. Are you guys still closing down? Or are you over that promotion?
