Thanks for another offer. Is this worth the extra $1k over the previous deal you had? Better panels and inverters I assume?

    • Would love to more about the difference too

      • Me three.

        Previous deal:
        Jinko 370W Cheetah Plus
        Plus Growatt MIN5000 TLX $2299
        Or plus MOD TL3-X $2799

        This deal:
        Seraphim 370W SII Series
        Plus Fronius PRIMO 5.0-1 $3299
        Or plus SYMO 5.0-3-M - $3699

Personally I have a three phase power point next to our meter box, although I have no need for it.

        • Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you have a higher limit with 3 phase rather than being capped at 5/6.6kW so you can put a bigger system on compared to a house without 3 phase power even if you don't use it.

          • @whitelie: Depends on the export limits for the distributor, the state you're in (this is WA, so exporting is hardly worth it anyway) and so on.

            • @mickeyjuiceman: Thanks for that, not worth getting 3 phase in order to export more than is it

              • @whitelie: I wouldn't have thought so. Every situation is different, blah blah, but in WA I don't think I'd be switching to three-phase just for a pittance of a FIT.

Anyway, you can put a bigger system on any time you like, it's just the export that's capped.

    • Similar panels, way better inverter

    • Depends on your priorities @Bargearse. We can't say one is better over the other as all the above brands are doing good job. I'll try to explain you some differences between them. In regards to the inverter, Fronius is made in Austria whereas Growatt is made in China. Fronius have cooling fan whereas Growatt doesn't. For panels, both Jinko and Seraphim are manufactured in China. The main difference is Seraphim comes with 15 years of prodct warranty whereas Jinko comes with 12 years product warranty. Jinko falls in World's top 10 panels ranking. Other than this they have almost identical specifications. I would recommend to go through their datasheets for your reference.

  • I signed up to the cheap one as well last deal.. what's the difference???

    • How was the installation and communication between you and company

  • It's very likely that I'd need a switchboard upgrade along with this. Ours is pretty old so I'd prefer to get one even if it isn't required. Can you give a rough price on replacement for a typical '70s 4x2?

I am really interested in this, but looking at the website and the 'reviews' make me nervous. I know for sure that the image for 'Raj Malhotra' is a generic image and suspect the others are too.

Anyone from previous deals that our purchased have any feedback?

    • Good spot, I did a quick check on the others and they seem to generic stock images too at least according to what comes up on google image search.

    • Would be interested to know as well.

I have emailed them so hoping to receive call soon

      • Any response?

    • It is a new company (5 months old) and i guess it's just a stock wordpress site.
I guess the reviews from Ozbargainers who take up this offer will see.

Does sound alright given there's zero deposit payable with the balance due on completion.

    • Definately fake reviews in the website, makes me want to questions how genuine work they'll do.

      • Can confirm the reviews are dodgy af

    • We have updated the website now and made the reviews transparent. Due to wet weather since the last couple of weeks, we haven't able to install for all the signed up customers from the previous deal but we have done couple of installs and one of them did put a review for us on Google (Gareth Hills).

  • Tempting but as others said its a new company…
