    The cheapest you can buy hoegaarden in NSW is $40. My husband picked a few cartons a couple of weeks ago at Mr Liquor. They have a few stores around Sydney and they are part of the Liquor Stax chain.

    They have 1 store that is in richmond. They dont have nsw & this is pick up only. The same comments every week for about a year now.

    south australia has all the best alcohol in this country - Cooper's ales, Barossa Shiraz, Clare Valley Riesling, Coonawarra cabernet, etc,.

    Luckily they 'export' it all to melbourne :D

    Sold out of Hoegaarden in first choice port Melbourne and Dan Murphy's south melbourne. Spoke to the manager at Dan murphy's and he let me have 5 x 4 packs for a relative price of 22.50 !!

      @Ryanh7, I got the Hoegaarden at both 1st choice and DM from Sth Melbourne this morning at around 10am! Their stock level was hardly anything but saved me a trip to GWD.

    First I went South Oakleigh and nothing on selves and guys told me out of stocks and go to Brighton. Then I came home and check on Internet, Hoegaarden not available in Brighton but in stock in South Oakleigh. Again I went there and tell them that's in stock in the store according your web site. Then one guy told me I will go and check the back and he came with empty hand, telling me they don't have anything in stock and online system(web site) is 24 hours behind. Is it right ? I insist to talk with Store Manage and he told me the same thing. I feel some thing not right here.

    I bought a slab of Hoegaarden and Coke. The Coke is 355ml and imported from the United States. IMHO it tastes slightly different from the Coke you get in Australia.

    Believe me. Woolworths and Coles are seriously bothered by GWD. I've heard managers asking for them to not be mentioned in their presence!

    They visit the shop on Wedneday morning at 10am to find out what the specials are and probably that's when stock hiding takes place.
