GARMIN NUVI 2350 GPS on Sale at Dickies - $149 Inc Delivery

30

Damm I paid $159 for this all of two days ago!!!!

Love the unit (being a first time GPS owner) and dont really find the lack of 'free lifetime maps' an issue…. (i mean, how often did u used to update your UBD? By that time I will just buy a new GPS)

Recommend the product anyway

cheers

dont know why people buy GPS these days at this price when you can get an android tab at around the same price… though guess you need data for most free mapping software…

this is for used in car, much better than mobile/tablet.

BTW, will Garmin better than Tomtom? and how about Navman?

      • I've owned a Garmin (3 years ago), a TomTom (2 years old) and currently a Garmin again. Actually preferred the TomTom. Liked the way the information in laid out (more customisable) and seemed to give me the most realistic estimated time of arrival. Never owned a Navman so dunno.

        • Thanks for reply.
I used 4 different Tomtom so far, never try the others. Need a new map now so thinking to try other brands as Tomtom cost more. Look like will stick to Tomtom now.

        • I've got a 3-4 year old TomTom and recently got the Garmin 2360LT with free lifetime maps offer. Really didn't like the Garmin. Dim screen, bad sound. Didn't look as easy to use and read as the TomTom. So I sold it and got a $75 map update for the TomTom.

unbelievable how expensive a software map update is! really shouldnt be more than 20 bux and even then… if they can sell a few hundred page street directory for 20-30 bux why are software map updates so expensive…
even if they do cover the whole country, most of the time your only in one city/state!

      • erm and why cant you use a tablet in the car? you can charge most from a car… and at that price, you could get a decent tab… and most even have car holders, so missing your point?

pretty sure most of those companies would also have apps for android as well…

I had Omnia Icon, Galaxy S, Galaxy S2, but none of them can compare with a dedicated GPS.
Sooner or later, most GPS will run Android, but a dedicated one in car still the best.

My dad got this from the Good Guys for $136 a few weeks ago.

Btw if you go to their website (Garmins) you can download stuff like cars and voices- theres even Yeti voice!

  • I guess it doesn't have Live Traffic.
Dick has Garmin Nuvi 1450T In-Car GPS which is $299 - waaaaayyy too much. Check Amazon.com.
it is half price and almost same price as Garmin Nuvi3760 In-Car GPS in their stock give me a break.
