A 2500k + Hyper 212 Evo cooler will be a lot cheaper, and easily outperform this when overclocked.

  That's right. That's the best value and I'm not sure what would require anything more. I run a 2500K with Megahalem Cooler. 4.8GHZ all day every day and that's not even tweaked.
