Had issues where we live with the shit in the bin bag going awful in half a day (heat), this bin helped that out and the filter kept it fresh. A friend told me they are great at preventing ants too.

It's a lot for a bin but was worth every cent to me

Why are you shitting in the bin?

      • I'm forced to pay for the bins to be collected however I can save money by not flushing the toilet and that let's me have more money to spend on ozbargin deals

    FYI: it's cost $3.13/L.

    • That's more expensive than a bottle of coke, which to choose…?

      • Firstly, why are you buying coke in a bottle and not in bags?

Second, where can I get some?

At $188.97 for a bin I'd expect the trash to take itself out!

I have this and the size and look is great but the lid hinge is shit house weak. Broke already and I had to glue it twice. Touch wood it doesn't break again. The mechanism is far too strong and poorly calibrated for the hinge and places excessive force on the clips that hold it together.

The reviews aren’t great. At this price of rather build one into the bench

The "Dyson" of plastic ware. Seriously for that price you could buy a stainless steel bin with compartments and a sensor lid.

Any bin with a lid is going to help prevent ants lol

  • Aldi had recently (and might still have as special buy) stackable binds with right coloured lids - $20 each - buy 3 and you're set.

  • Saw this the other day and had considered posting… until I looked at the reviews (which include video) demonstrating what you would expect this thing to not be doing when paying this sort of money.

I have one of the original models of the joseph joseph 60L totem bin, maybe 10 years old. It’s built like a tank can’t fault it.
These newer models are cheaply built.

  • I got this one from Ikea last week, it's on special for $40 for most of July. It has a similar stacked recyclables/waste bin design, but is 40L (20L each compartment).

It's plastic but isn't tipsy like I thought it might have been. At $40 I think the Ikea one is a good deal.

That is pretty for a bin …
