  How does the 5gbps USB spec help in any way? Wouldn't this be limited to the speed of the HDD which is a lot slower than that?

    Yeah, if you have a Scorptec near you, which I do, then no delivery needed.

      You still have to pay for the cost of transportation to get to and back from the Scorptec store. Whether it's bus, taxi or private car transportation. You could easily use up $12 getting there via bus.

  There's nothing 'special' about this drive. I have it hooked up to my PS5, and it works well enough. It has rubber feet, so maybe that helps with reducing vibrations when the drive is being used.

  Picked up the 5 TB version during Amazon Prime day for $170 (minus 12% cashwards cashback + $20 WD EOFY rebate) = ~$128 total.
