I have one… doesn't work very well. Waste of money in my opinion

      • +1

I have something very similar - you're right - a pair or blunt nose scissors works so much better.

3000 series nose trimmer, must be 50% better than my 2000 series…

    • +3

trims 1000 more nose hairs in a second

    • +5

The eyebrow trimmer has the special John Howard extension.

      • +4

Do I need to get the 4000 series for the Tony Galati extension?

        • +2

I think you need the industrial 3-phase powered version for that.

      • +2

I expect JohnHowardsEyebrows to comment on this.

Make sure to read the reviews first so you can save yourself $19.

    • +2

Well your comment was enough to turn me off and not bother.

  • +5

Wow. Reviews trash it pretty badly…

    • +7

Fake reviews from competitors is a massive part of online sales now…

Don't base your choices off a couple of reviews on one webpage alone, dig a bit deeper or you just become another sheep to be herded.

      • how deep? how

        • +1

As long as it takes until you feel comfortable making a decision, one way or another. Everyone is different.

Bear in mind the cost of the item as to how much time you want to commit in order to save a few bucks.

  • $14 when I added to cart. For $14 I'd like to give it a try.

I find this post to be a personal attack.

    • +2

Don't worry. From the reviews, you're pretty safe.

Not as good as previous models, have to use it on more of an angle. Bought a couple weeks ago and not impressed.

    • Interesting, was going to replace my older one that I love, I noticed this didn't have the angle which I thought was a bit weird. Won't bother then.

  • They don't work very well. I use traditional method.

    • I've got an older version of this, highly rate it (for $15 or whatever it was), I have tried all the traditional methods and much prefer these things.

    • What's the traditional method?

Your fingers/nails followed by a quick pull and a sneeze?

Any better bang for your buck, nose /ear hair trimmers about?
Had a Panasonic one was pretty good

    • I'd like to know too, I've got a previous version of the Philips 3000 that I really like but I wouldn't mind upgrading to something better as my plastic guard has cracked.

    • +1

I concur on the Panasonic one. Had one now for three years and it works well.

      • Thanks for the link

  • Get the circular designed trimmer, these ones are garbage.

  • thanks for the comments! saved me by the sounds of it

  • hmmm not sure I need a dedicated device? OneBlade Pro excels at both tasks for me

  • My eyebrows aren't even? Any remedy? Shave off?
(Possibly due to stress/relief making me pull one side out without much thought)

  • First time I learned you trim eyebrows. What do you trim? Why?

    • The older you get, they more unruly they become …

      • Who, the kids?

  • Any alternative recommendations? Other than manual scissors, that is.
